Bottle. Textbook visuals for an IIPA -- deep, brooding orange-reddish-brown, with an active appeal and a frothy, bubbly head. The aroma is simply kick-butt ... thick like lacquer with rich, oily hops. Drinking this is akin to chewing on a sappy fir branch ... sticky, earthen, dirty, and rife with flavor. Roll out some cheese, light the fire, and enjoy. (#4533, 3/23/2012) Ibrew2or3 (8614) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - SEP 3, 2011
Bomber pours clear copper with white head. The aroma offers up firm bold spicy hops, some tangelo and pine resin like bitter hoppiness. Nice. I think it leans a touch toward tropical fruit. It seems the aroma is almost sticky with hops and it makes me wonder if the flavor can deliver. And . . . the taste is fortunately similar with robust sticky yummy citrus and spicy hops rolling swiftly from side to side with a mild sense of bitter pine hops and some malt sweetened grapefruit like hops going on in the background. I’m loving the bold hoppiness of both bitter and flavor type hops. Yum. RSRIZZO (1986) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - SEP 6, 2011
22oz bottle poured into a Snifter at 43°. Color is a hazy pale gold with good carbonation and a small white head. Aroma is citrus, lemon up front and a bit of dried orange peel, then a some caramel in the back. It has a medium body that goes down with a light smooth mouth feel. Flavor is a beautifully light taste of orange with a touch of dried fruit and toffee then a mellow bitterness rolls in. After taste is a light dry feel as the citrus goes to a lemon like grapefruit taste and the hops show a hint of their floral notes. Overall that is an amazing brew with a very complex flavor and yet is light and easy to drink. Best of all this bottle was only $3.99 showing a kick ass brew can be made at a fair price, great job. Nicely balanced for an Imperial IPA. Some great nectarine-ish flavor. Strong but pleasant bitterness. A little caramel and grainy malt flavor; it’s mostly subdued, though. DoctorB2B (13) - Massachusetts, USA - JUN 27, 2011
Very impressed with this offering from Full Sail. The smell is intoxicating .. tons of citrusy and tropical fruits. Flavor wise was even better ... not to insanely bitter. The malt backbone balanced this beer out quite well.
I will definitely buy this again and again!

Pours slightly hazy golden with a small off white head. Aroma is of hops, citrus, orange zest and lemon. Has a strong hop flavour, citrus, orange, some spices and a nice malt compliment. Pretty damn good. Cybercat (5832) - Georgia, USA - OCT 27, 2011
Strong, woody aroma has an overtone of resin and hints of apple. It pours a beautiful clear golden amber with a fairly thick and fine-bubbled pale yellowish tan head. Richly hoppy flavor has a woody note and hints of apple and caramel. Smooth, firm-bodied texture has a strong, edgy tingle and leaves a tingly, woody finish. thelordthygod (1) - - AUG 10, 2011 does not count
This beer’s main problem is that it’s from a brewery that isn’t as hip as, say, Russian River or Troegs or Cigar City but it’s very good. Full Sail make totally drinkable but only mildly interesting beers. This one is a home rune though. dwyerpg (6180) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - SEP 7, 2011
A very rich sweet aroma; inbetween a 90 and 120-minute Dogfish. The flavor is a bit less in mouthfeel than what you’d expect but has a very strong finish. Lots of bittering hops, yet just not that great. SudsMcDuff (8428) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - DEC 14, 2011
