Bomber. Pours a copper with a beige head and aroma of malt and caramel. Taste is malty, with caramel, hops, grain, and bread notes into the malty finish. Darkmagus82 (2303) - - AUG 5, 2015
Poured from bottle into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a golden amber color with a one finger head of billowy white foam. The head fades relatively quickly leaving just a trace of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is heaviest of a slightly bready smell mixed with a moderate showing of a hop aroma of a citrus and light grassy nature. Along with these smells comes some dank notes of pine and a decent fruity aroma, which when mixed with the caramel, bread, and hop create a rather nice smell overall.
Taste – The taste begins with a nice creamy bready taste with a decent showing of a caramel sweetness. Upfront there is also a bit of an earthy and citrus hop, which create a nice hop taste to complement the sweet. As the taste advances the sweeter and malt stay strong, but the lighter hop upfront is joined by more hop of a floral and grass nature, which create a nicely moderately hopped and balanced taste overall.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the thicker and creamier side with a carbonation level that is on the slightly lower side. The feel is fantastic for the malty sweeter flavors of the brew and make for a rather nice sipping brew overall.
Overall – This was a quite enjoyable and rather tasty brew overall with a nice blend of hop and malt with a sipping feel overall. A rather tasty and enjoyable ESB.

Pours a fairly clear amber... only okay looking off white head... nice lacing.
Aroma is a good mix of spicy/earthy hops and medium caramel and deep toasted bread.
Nice bitterness balances a near perfect malt profile.... caramel malts and toasted biscuits ... Hops are pretty earthy .... a bit of fruity esters on the finish.
Medium bodied with the expected lighter carbonation.

"Age? I dunno. Dusty, but otherwise not bad. Balanced crackers and piney earthy hops. Decent for the style but nothing to get excited about............." Gachupines (1252) - USA - JUN 30, 2014
Muddy brown with a decent tan head. Aroma is a bit sweet, a bit of toffee and toasted nuts. Flavor is a bit sweet, there’s notes of caramel and toffee and a touch of bitterness in the finish. It gets close to being a bit cloying for an ESB which is a bit unfortunate. A tiny amount of brightness from the hops. Not bad, but could be a bit cleaner on the palate.

Bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a clear deep amber color with a bubbly ring. Small head develops with agitation, but is quickly gone. The aroma is toasted malts, caramel, mild fruits, pithy with a small floral character. The flavor is more toasted bready malts, pithy, some fruits, dry, herbal bitterness to the finish. Sample from firkin at the 6th Annual Rogue Firkin Fest at Green Dragon, dry hopped with Challenger. Pours a cloudy orange-amber color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, tropical fruit and hops. Medium body with flavors of fruity hops and caramel malt, along with a bit of pine. The finish is fruity with a hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.
