A bomber of the 2006 brewer’s reserve. Very good and well malted ESB. Its for sipping and sharing. Golden amber colour. Smooth.Hoppy and piney aroma. This is a mix of hops, and while citrus, there is some British hop in here. Refreshing.Drying finish

A little old perhaps, couldn’t tell the date. Aroma is a little dusty, but the flavor was solid. Nutty, earthy with light caramel toast and fruit.

Bottle @ home picked up @ Wilbur’s Fort Collins. I seem to remember having this at the brewery five years back, but I could be mistaken. Pours a clear dark copper appearance with a light brown head. Nutty, herbal, caramel, toasted malty, a bit earthy, clean aroma. Mildly sweet, somewhat spicy, nutty, tangy herbal, grassy, toasted malty flavor. A touch metallic. Not bad but not my favorite ESB. marcus (10231) - Sacramento, California, USA - SEP 8, 2014
Bottle from Total Wine, Sacramento. Pours amber with a short beige head and a fruit and toffee aroma. There is a medium-bodied caramel malt flavor with a carbonated slightly bitter finish. onceblind (9700) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 27, 2015
Clear bright penny copper with a thin foamy white top. Big lovely toffee pale english malt on the aroma with a slight grassiness. Smooth and slightly bitter flavor, perhaps the most bitter ESB I’ve had in a while (not that bitter overall but probably similar to how true Brits taste ESBs back in the day) with quite a bit of grassy hop flavor, English Marris otter pale malt biscuitiness, and a smoot nutty finish with a quiet grassy bitterness on the aftertaste. 3fourths (9347) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JUL 24, 2013
Bottle. Clear copper with a thin white head. Buttered sugar cookie, vanilla and nut butter amber malt. Light sulfur and medium aromatic mustiness (dried dank, green herbs, spice). Melanoidin / honey malt savoriness, sherry amber / vienna malt flavor. Lightly sweet, balanced bitterness. Medium to light body with somewhat hard edges to the malt, but it’s much cleaner than most of their stuff. They are known to make an occasional good batch (some of the LTD stuff is pretty solid), and this may be one of them. bb (9268) - Alamo, California, USA - OCT 20, 2015
Bottle. Amber-brown beer with a tan head. Caramel and light citrus aroma. Caramel and citrus flavor with light woodsiness. Medium bodied. Caramel and citrus lingers with light earth and light toffee.
