Pours clear orange-amber with a fairly thick and persistent buff head. Aroma delivers sharp citrus and resiny hop notes plus a mild malty underpinning. Flavor puts hops ahead of citrus and ups the malt a little. Citrus is mainly fresh, tangy orange with a little grapefruit. Firm, smooth mouthfeel presents fair fizz. Go in pursuit of this one. Six pack from Daney’s mini mart in Monterey, Ca for the great price of $7.22. Pours gold with a white head that recedes quickly. Aroma is onion and pineapple. Flavor is a mix of bitter and slightly spicy hops. I don’t get much from this beer. In general I prefer Full Sail’s lagers over their ales, and this beer is no exception.
I’m not sure why my impression of this beer does not match other drinkers. Usually it does. I know that IPAs can age quick and sometimes age is a factor with IPA quality, but the best drink by date is 11/21/16 for this brew. PorterPounder (7894) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - AUG 23, 2016
Sarasota, Fl - Total Wine & Spirits - 12 oz bottle. Slight sparkling essence to the medium orange pour, bubbly white head, light film of lacing. Aroma has a strong spruce presence, a hint of vanilla sweetness. Pleasant flavor, nice bittersweetness with some caramel sweetness, some grapefruit citrus notes, a touch of mango. Decently thick mouthfeel. Very enjoyable. drjoeng (1230) - SINGAPORE - AUG 21, 2016
Poured out gold. 6şSRM.
Nose has sweet malt. There is some brief sweet corn aroma on the nose.
Mouthfeel is soapy. Palate has toasted malt flavor with malted milkshakes, malted powder like Horlicks or candies like Maltesers, some toasted graham cracker and pie crust. Hops are pine, light resin, sap, hint of spice with light scallion, earthy, with a prolonged bitter finish which is herbaceous but with a pronounced bitterness that borders on resinous. Lingers on back of tongue.
Finish is medium-long and with the character as above. The resinous flavor profile becomes more and more prominent the more you sip. A very satisfyingly full hop ride.

355ml bottle. Pours a slightly hazy golden orange with a large, frothy, long lasting, white head that leaves plenty of lacing. Sweet, floral aroma of pineapple, grapefruit, peach, caramel malt and pine. Sweet, fruity flavour of grapefruit, orange, mango, peach, pineapple, caramel malt, biscuit and pine with a dry, bitter, slight resin finish.
Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. A solid IPA.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a well retained, tiny bubbled, ivory head, with extensive lacing, over a slightly hazy, amber (SRM 9) body.......nose is tropical fruits, with mango, peach notes, mild citrus, light pine, resin all from the hops, mild malts.....taste is light slightly sweet malts with hints of floral honey, heavy tropical notes, pine resin, light grass, allium, all from the hops, finishing with a moderate hop bitterness, balance to the hops.......mouth feel, light of medium body, no alcohol, high carbonation with light creaminess. The slight allium/grass tones are the only flaw, with the malts just barely balancing out the multiple hop notes. This is a quite typical member of the new style American craft IPA’s as such, it is almost trite. BJCP 8/3/13/4/7 Darkmagus82 (2302) - - JUL 15, 2016
Poured from bottle into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a lightly hazed orange amber color with a one finger white head of foam. The head fades very fast, leaving just a bit of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is big of an herbal hop smell mixed with some aromas of a tropical fruit nature. Along with these smells comes some aromas of grass and hay along with a bit of a grapefruit hop rounding it out.
Taste – The taste begins with a smooth bready flavor that has a decent sum of a tropical fruitiness as well as some nice herbal hop tastes. As the taste advances more and more grapefruit hop as well as some other sweeter tastes of caramel and orange come to the tongue. With some lighter grassy and hay tastes coming at the end and a rather big increase in an almost orange juice like tastes, one is left with a very pleasant, nicely hopped and rather fruity sweet taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is average in thickness and chewiness with a carbonation level that is rather average. For the mix of sweet fruit and hop, the feel is very nice and creates a very pleasant drinking brew.
Overall – This is a brew that I really enjoyed. It has a great sweet body that is balanced very nicely by the hop and just enough bready/malty taste. This was a smooth and flavorful drinker.

Pours a finger of head on a hazy darker straw body. Aroma is big ripe lemon and grapefruit. Taste is malty but with a good lemon and grapefruit bitter. Texture is softer. gururyan (726) - Stillwater, Oklahoma, USA - JUN 23, 2016
Poured from bottle into wet snifter, smells like dirty laundry and looks like piss. However, things improve dramatically from there. Quite a bright, brisk IPA with a pleasant mouthfeel. I would be okay with a sixer of this.

Clear copper pour with with a nice sized white head. Nose of citrus and hint of pineapple. Flavor is sweet and citrus with a bit of orange zest. Nice balance of malt that has a touch of bitter on the finish.
