COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hop Pursuit is the ultimate celebration of Oregon agriculture and Pacific Northwest Hops. Our brewers shoot a wonderfully hoppy surplus of Cascade, Mosaic, Equinox, and Simcoe into the fermenter using our Hop Shooter, dry hopping the beer and enhancing the aroma of pineapple and late hop flavors. Piney and mango notes follow with a mid-palate hint of honey. Two-Row Northwest Pale, Caramel, and Munich malts provide the right amount of malt character. Balanced by a clean, caramel malt body, Hop Pursuit’s multi-layered hop flavors lead to a crisp, assertive finish. Like the Pacific Northwest, this IPA has hops for days.

22oz bottle 9/17/11 (Davidson’s Liquor)-50° in Lager Glass-Pours a medium golden with a small white head. Aroma of hops, pine, and malt. Taste of hops, malt, and citrus. This medium bodied brew is not bad but well balanced.

Bomber. Pours a cloudy gold copper with a small frothy off white head that leaves spotty lacing. The aroma is floral hops grapefruit and pine. Medium mouthfeel with a sweet hop and a bit watery with citrus in the finish. A decent Pale Ale from Full Sail.

On the border of pale and IPA. Nice and crisp with a lingering floral hop bite. This orange colored brew hits the spot on a warm day. A little tiny bit of citrus us back there too.

Bomber pours clear copper with tan head. This playful aroma seems to be hiding behind the couch and refuses to come out. I get light notes of citrus orange peel and lime like hoppiness as well as some spicy hops and a sense of sweet fruity hard candy. The taste has a moderate level of bitter grapefruit and lime like citrus hops and then rolling into spicy and citrus hop flavor. Into the finish the largely citrus hop bitterness and flavor are joined by a thin river of sweet malts.

bomber-pours bright hazy orange with some chunks with a nice soapy white head. big bubbles. nose is very floral, like you put your head in a flower garden with a mix of differnt notes/aromas. lots of hops but not pungent, very fragrent and lite. flavors are litely piney, light sweetness with a touch of toasted grains. finish is sweet with some lite dryness from the hop bitterness. not a bad pale ale here. definately drinkable but wish i had it a bit fresher. nonetheless glad i got to try it. Full Sail is definately a very solid brewery. I have been drinking their beers now for 10 yrs! :)

Location: 22 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 9/1/11

Aroma: The nose is fairly hoppy, grapefruit, pale malts, pine, orange, and citrus
Appearance: It pours a cloudy golden-orange color with a fizzy white head
Flavor: The flavor has a light citrusy sweetness, with a big, bitting, bitter finish to it
Palate: This one is medium bodied with fairly short duration, a fizzy carbonation, and a dry finish
Overall Impression: This is rating numero uno of September!. As for the beer itself, it is quite bitter for the style, dry and bitting, but pretty solid. Another nice offering from Full Sail. The quality level from these guys seems to be generally fairly high.
