COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hop Pursuit is the ultimate celebration of Oregon agriculture and Pacific Northwest Hops. Our brewers shoot a wonderfully hoppy surplus of Cascade, Mosaic, Equinox, and Simcoe into the fermenter using our Hop Shooter, dry hopping the beer and enhancing the aroma of pineapple and late hop flavors. Piney and mango notes follow with a mid-palate hint of honey. Two-Row Northwest Pale, Caramel, and Munich malts provide the right amount of malt character. Balanced by a clean, caramel malt body, Hop Pursuit’s multi-layered hop flavors lead to a crisp, assertive finish. Like the Pacific Northwest, this IPA has hops for days.

Not really what I expected, moderately hoppy, a bit sour, almost has lager qualities, a bit darker than the usual PA, average to below average, my first selection from this brewer and I was not really impressed

Bomber. Pours very hazy with a small white head. Nose is lightly fresh hops. Taste is just a bit old, with moderate smooth hop profile and a dash of malt backbone. Flavors fade, although not completely, on the finish. Smooth to drink with moderate carbonation. Not bad but not memorable.

20110730 Bomber from Liquor Stop. Medium amber with small, quick off white head. Aroma is mild citrus, pine, caramel, cake batter. Medium bodied, lingering though mild herbal bitterness. Fairly standard but decent enough PNW pale. Not sure what I paid for it, but hopefully less than six beans.

at dak’s 8/14/10. orange-y amber color with a small off white head. it smells of yeast, umami, orange, wood, grass and earthy hops. it tastes the same... nothing really jumps out except a teenie bitterness on the finish. medium bodied and not very exciting. 6/3/6/3/13
