COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hop Pursuit is the ultimate celebration of Oregon agriculture and Pacific Northwest Hops. Our brewers shoot a wonderfully hoppy surplus of Cascade, Mosaic, Equinox, and Simcoe into the fermenter using our Hop Shooter, dry hopping the beer and enhancing the aroma of pineapple and late hop flavors. Piney and mango notes follow with a mid-palate hint of honey. Two-Row Northwest Pale, Caramel, and Munich malts provide the right amount of malt character. Balanced by a clean, caramel malt body, Hop Pursuits multi-layered hop flavors lead to a crisp, assertive finish. Like the Pacific Northwest, this IPA has hops for days.

Really nice fruity hop aroma and flavor -- which changes from start to aftertaste. Light malt in background; a little bit of bready flavor, and probably a little caramelized malt. Not super bitter. A really tasty easy-drinker.

Pours a slightly tinted gold, spritzy body with a non-uniform ivory colored head. Aroma is good enough, some toasty malts, pine, mild citrus. Crisp on the tongue, good feel. Pretty balanced throughout but nothing really distinguishing it.

Bottle in Seattle. Thin stingy foam, darker amber gold. I had low expectations but this drinks well. Some minerality to the malt base with a modicum of citrus hop. Fair acidity and rather clean. Bright carbonation. Easy, nice beer.

Bottle from Albertsons. Nothing stands out here, pretty average all around. Clear, bright golden, small ring of head. Light aroma focuses on hops, light citrus notes. Taste is mildly sweet, some tropical essence as well. Light lingering bitterness.

Pours clear golden orange with a medium beige head, very good retention. Aromas of grapefruit, pine resin, succulent floral notes, biscuit, and caramel. Medium-light body, lightly dry, moderate carbonation. Lightly sweet, a hint of grape fruit tang, and a lasting medium bitter finish. Pretty satisfying IPA.

Staff gave me a sample of this and warned me that it has a Bud Light hop profile. Not far from the truth. Golden color. Papery aroma. Light sweet taste.

Bottle. Pours a copper color with white head. Citrus, hop, orange aromas. Citrus, very slight piney, hoppy flavors. Its been awhile since Ive had Full Sail, so I was excited for this one. But not too great of an IPA.

Crystal clear golden yellow with a one-finger white head and very nice lace. Aromas of melon, tangerine, ?onion? and a hint of bread. Offputting acidity in the taste, which otherwise includes mild bitterness and a solid bready malt base. Medium body and carbonation, smooth mouthfeel and that acidity lingers in the finish. Really not a notable ipa.

Pours clear orange-amber with a fairly thick and persistent buff head. Aroma delivers sharp citrus and resiny hop notes plus a mild malty underpinning. Flavor puts hops ahead of citrus and ups the malt a little. Citrus is mainly fresh, tangy orange with a little grapefruit. Firm, smooth mouthfeel presents fair fizz. Go in pursuit of this one.

Six pack from Daneys mini mart in Monterey, Ca for the great price of $7.22. Pours gold with a white head that recedes quickly. Aroma is onion and pineapple. Flavor is a mix of bitter and slightly spicy hops. I dont get much from this beer. In general I prefer Full Sails lagers over their ales, and this beer is no exception. Im not sure why my impression of this beer does not match other drinkers. Usually it does. I know that IPAs can age quick and sometimes age is a factor with IPA quality, but the best drink by date is 11/21/16 for this brew.
