Bottle. Nose is dank and musty, lightly sweet, has caramel and herbal, earthy, some citric qualities. Really fascinating aroma, spicy sweat sock stuffy. Pours Clear, rich golden-orange with a medium, dense beige head. Taste semi-sweet to semi-dry with a malty and slightly chalky full body, light crispness; medium citrus and herbs, faint spice. Very faint but pleasing cheesiness. Where’s the bitterness? Anyway, this is balanced and very traditional-foodie English, or, well, at least the kind of English that’s imported into the US. gripweed57 (2460) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - MAR 21, 2015
12 ounce bottle. Brassy gold color. Creamy rocky beige head. Sweet toasted malt nose with a hint of piney hops. Flavor is honey sweet malt with spicy hops. Good flavor and balance. A decent Northwestern IPA. AdamChandler (5051) - Enfield, New Hampshire, USA - MAR 11, 2015
375ML. looks like an IPA. pee gold appearance. Aroma is graham cracker, pepper and pine needles. Taste is very sweet up front and in the middle, lots of copper penny and piney finish. DrunkSanta410 (940) - Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA - MAR 6, 2015
Bottle at home, pours clear golden with white head that fades into lacy film. Aroma is bland, faint malts in caramel and toast. Not much of a hop presence in the aroma. Taste is better than the aroma. Hops come through in mild pine and grass, solidly bitter. Malts bring in a faint sweetness. Highly carbonated, average body. Average To below average IPA. Appearance- decent bone white head that lasted a good bit. Light lacing. Fairly clear (a little cloudy right out of the bottle). Honey gold hue.
Smell- malts and spice. Clean.
Taste- a little sweet up front (surprisingly), then on to the bitterness. The notes on the nose don’t really come through, unfortunately. Disappointing.
Mouthfeel- medium body.
Overall- okay, not great. Wouldn’t go out of my way to have again. Many better options available.

On tap at the brewpub - Pours clear gold with a white head. The aroma has fruity / grapefruit hops and rich caramel malt. It has a medium crisp body with a modest amount of carbonation. The flavor starts with dry crackery malt, earthiness / wood, pine and a hint of lime. The finish has sulfur and minerals. Decent IPA. Chudwick (3207) - Taylor Mill, Kentucky, USA - FEB 1, 2015
one of those beers I can’t believe I haven’t rated yet. Citrus and cardboard nose. Not bad and light-ish. Grassy finish. dhatton (241) - Mendham, New Jersey, USA - JAN 1, 2015
Clear golden body with thin white head. Citrus and pine aromas with a hint of lime. Some malt notes are prevalent. Very smooth with a slightly peppery finish. Nice sessionable IPA. boozedude (2228) - Des Moines, Iowa, USA - DEC 20, 2014

Bottle to English pint glass. Pours hazy light amber/gold, two finger billowy head, very little lacing with some retention. Aroma of apricot and pine. Taste is on the earthy bitter side, decent sweet malt balance. Medium bodied, lively carbonation, slightly sticky mouth feel. Finishes bitter with floral and herbal notes. I like this one, it’s traditional make up pushed is a nice change.
