COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This Northwest style IPA is generously hopped to 60 IBU’s with Centennial hops from the Yakima Valley. Brewed in the classic style with two-row Pale and Crystal malt, our IPA is a real thirst quencher. It has a full, malty body and there’s even a hint of fresh citrus to it. Perfect after your favorite water sport. Even if that happens to be the grueling drag-the-poolside-lounge-chair-into-the-sun event. Classic IPA is available in 6-packs, 12-packs, and on draft. ABV 6% IBU 60

Bottled. Pours a clear light amber with a scant lacy white head. Aroma of citrus and hay. The body is on the light side, just a touch watery, with medium carbonation. The taste has some citrus and fruit. Dry cedar-bitter finish with a bitter aftertaste.

12 oz bottle from Indiana_Red. Yellow golden color with small off-white head. Aroma is citrus, hops, grass. Flavor is lightly hoppy but not much of the citrus that was in the aroma. Pretty average.

Golden color, looks beautiful, hoppy scent. No hoppy flavor. Goes down smooth with no bite.

On Tap at Full Sail Hood River. Pours out a nice honey with a off white head. Light hops not as good as I was thinking.

BeerPrince (1701) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 4, 2006
Orangey colour with minimal off white head, Some malts, wheat and citrus on the nose. Flavour is fresh and somewhat earthy before a flatter basic finish.

Bottled. Honey colored body, clear and topped with a giant, off-white head that leaves behind lots of lace. The body is medium with lots of dry, foamy carbonation; the finish is a touch watery. The aroma is musky and sour, somehwat wheaty and fruity. A touch of honey. Flavor is lightly malty throughout with mild honey and sugar. The hops are grapefruit and a touch of pine. Some fruity character--apricot. Touch woody. Sweat and leather in the flavor too, along with some generic beer flavor. Rather plain. Nothing stands out.

Bottle. Golden amber beer with a whitish head. Grapefruit aroma. Grapefruit flavor with a very little caramel backing. Body is a bit too light. Some lingering bitterness, but not enough hops anywhere.

OhioDad (2492) - Hilliard, Ohio, USA - AUG 23, 2006
12oz bottle from kenb - thanks Ken! - Pours dark golden and somewhat cloudy with a fair foamy white head that didn’t stay too long. Aroma is floral hops, some grapefruit, and a bit of lemon over light grains. Flavor has all of those same citrus notes, grapefruit, lemon, and a fair amount of biscuit flavor as well. Finish is lightly bitter but less so than other PNW ipas that I have tried. All in all a pretty fair IPA

2.7
grimreeser (797) - Minnesota, USA - AUG 20, 2006
Pours light golden amber with medium head that dissipates quickly, nice lacing. Grassy grapefruit aroma, some pine and floral as well. Don’t notice any malt, only hops. Bitter, sour flavor. Too much grapefruit.
