COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A medium-bodied, honey colored ale brewed with malted barley, corn, and rye. The same key ingredients used to make classic American Bourbon. Brewed in February 2016 and aged for over a year in Kentucky Bourbon barrels. The barrel aging presents aromas of ripe cherries, vanilla and tobacco leaf and oak that lead to flavors of caramel, honey and dried fruit finishing with a warm sweetness. With malted rye imparting a slightly spicy finish. Aged in Woodford Reserve Bourbon, Woodford Reserve Double Oak Bourbon, and Old Forester.

Pours clear topaz with a thick and fairly persistent eggshell head that leaves good lacing. Aroma starts with bourbon-soaked wood and then leads fresh malt and honey sweetness, along with a touch of tart apple, past the olfactory system. Flavor features fresh malt, sweet bourbon, oak, apple, and subtle honey and caramel tones. Mouthfeel presents good body and fizz, and a sharp bourbon finish. Set sail for some Kentucky Cream!

Bomber, 2017 vintage. Wonderful bourbon aroma with notes of vanilla, caramel, honey, rye and dried fruit. Pours honey-amber colored with a thin white head that has no retention or lacing. Starts with sweet caramel, honey and dried fruit flavors with a bit of booze in the background. Finishes smooth with excellent bourbon, vanilla, oak and a bit of rye as well as a touch of warming booze. Really nice.

A very nice cream ale. Pours an ugly clear orange. Smells of bourbon and cream. Taste is creamy bourbon as well, very nice and an easy drinker.

Draught @ the brewery. Pours a clear copper colour with a thin white head. Nose is bourbon with a woody note. Flavour is creamy sweet delicious bourbon and vanilla with a slight bitter boozy finish.

Draft - Bread and some light raw oak. Clear gold with a decent white head. Sweet and light sour bourbon with some buttery raw oak. Distinct and nice.

Bomber from Tavour. Nose is bourbon, vanilla, and not much in the way of pale ale (maybe a hint of floral hops). Clear rusty yellow with a medium lightly lacing off white head. Flavor is light bourbon with some light bitterness. A session, 10% ABV bourbon drink? Nice! Nice bourbon with the normal beer notes.

6/22/17. On tap at Dark Side of the Moon, Rome. Amber pour with a small khaki head. Barrel present on the aroma, caramel, oak, vanilla - basically kills the base beer. Rich flavor, lots of barrel, oak, vanilla, caramel, touches of citrus. Eh.

My first visit back to Full Sail this year. The Kentucky cream barrel aged pale ale tickled my palate pretty good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Clear medium golden. Mostly sweet Bourbon with some oak notes, too. Hot mouthfeel and finish. This seems to basically serve as a way to showcase Bourbon notes in a beer without the beer getting in the way. Medium bodied. Interesting. I wouldn’t get this again but it was fun enough to enjoy a bottle of.

On tap at the Hood River brewery. Clear deep golden. Thin skin of off white bubbles. Huge clean sweet Bourbon aroma. Almost candy like. Light sweet caramel and Bourbon flavors. Very smooth soft palate. Lightly hopped but a little IBU bite at the end. Great Bourbon character. Delicious BBA light beer
