12oz bottle into a pint glass.
Pours a clear dark brownish-red with a one finger tan head that fades rather quickly leaving very little in the way of lacing.
Aroma of toffee and caramel along with noble hops. There is also some toast and nuttiness.
Flavor has caramel and nuts up front nicely complimented by spicy hops. Toffee and caramel in the background along with a little bit of toast. Moderate bitterness with a little bit of a creamy mouthfeel. Clean finish with just the smallest amount of stickyness.
Overall, a tasty lager but not one that really stands out from the pack. Really reminded me of SA Boston Lager. I would pick it up again if I saw it.

12oz bottle from my local Kroger. Bottled 8/18/12. Toasty caramel malts. Clear lighter brown color. Some bubbles on the side of the glass. Little greyish head. Moderate, soft carbonation, light dry texture. Sweet taste. Hint of honey. Decent amber lager, but doesn’t really do anything for me. Pretty much what I expected robforbes (2257) - Bremerton, Washington, USA - SEP 28, 2012

~Probably best Vienna I ever had, but I haven’t had that many. Enjoyable beer. Could drink a few of these. arminjewell (9689) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - AUG 20, 2012
Pour out of 12 oz bottle, did not know it was a vienna style...dark reddish brown pour with thin white head, aroma has notes of dark roasted nuts, some hints of caramel, toffee, touch of biscuit, earthy notes, slight crisp and grassy hops, hints of earthy grain and husky notes. Taste is sweet caramel, toffee, hints of earthy grain, nice snappy grass and spicy hops, finishing fairly sweet, slightly bitter. PorterPounder (8176) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - AUG 15, 2012
Hood River, Or - on tap at the brewpub after the excellent tour. Dark amber pour, off-white head, thick lacing. Worty aroma with some fruity accents. Flavor has a hint of caramel, some bubble gum, some nutty notes. Thick enough mouthfeel.

This beer is crazy good. I haven’t enjoyed the last couple of editions of the ltd but this is exceptional. The malts are smooth and the hops are mild and crisp. So good. jeffs515 (123) - Ogden, Utah, USA - AUG 6, 2012
The aroma is not very strong it is malty with a little roasted scent. Pours brown with frothy tan head that diminishes quickly and lots of carbonation. Taste is a weird vegetable flavor up front and then goes into a malty coffee yeasty flavor. Not my favorite. Im not sure why I keep buying these full sail ltd series.
