12oz bottle from my local Kroger. Bottled 8/18/12. Toasty caramel malts. Clear lighter brown color. Some bubbles on the side of the glass. Little greyish head. Moderate, soft carbonation, light dry texture. Sweet taste. Hint of honey. Decent amber lager, but doesn’t really do anything for me. Pretty much what I expected arminjewell (9635) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - AUG 20, 2012
Pour out of 12 oz bottle, did not know it was a vienna style...dark reddish brown pour with thin white head, aroma has notes of dark roasted nuts, some hints of caramel, toffee, touch of biscuit, earthy notes, slight crisp and grassy hops, hints of earthy grain and husky notes. Taste is sweet caramel, toffee, hints of earthy grain, nice snappy grass and spicy hops, finishing fairly sweet, slightly bitter. 3fourths (9341) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAR 19, 2011
clear amber. mostly clean pale and caramel malt nose; slightly metallic but sterile notes at times; mostly sweetened caramel and fusel vanilla touches otherwise. light bodied, as expected, with chewy roundness mid-palate. low hop bitterness but has medium to low malt astringency and harshness. nutty, wet finish. it’s okay fresh, but it seems like after only weeks in the bottle it will be done for. bb (9268) - Alamo, California, USA - MAR 28, 2011
Bottle. Rich amber beer with a cream colored head. Low malt and earthy aroma. Malt and light caramel flavor with mineral and earth. Medium bodied. Malt and mineral lingers with light caramel and spice. blipp (9268) - La Mesa, California, USA - APR 25, 2011
Bottle. Pours amber with an off white head. Light toasty malty aroma. The flavor is clean and toasty with enough bitterness to balance. Good stuff.

Stupid beer! as i was taking a pic of this brew for the beer sites, my camera slipped, and i dropped the bitch and the screen busted, fuck! .. So this beer will will have to drown my sorrows .. . Pours a dark tan, with amazing head (which actually overflowed all over my side table) .. . aroma is not all that good, dusty and brown .. . Um... is it right to buy a Chrysler? .. . very smooth stuff, taste of light grain, caramel and nuts .. . A pretty nice brew, and quite a well made example of the style .. . Hello. Hello? Anybody there? What’s this, I hear the phone ring, and suddenly there’s nothing. I’m listening and there’s no talking. Hello, mister, who are you? Why would they call if they don’t want to talk to you? PorterPounder (7961) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - AUG 15, 2012
Hood River, Or - on tap at the brewpub after the excellent tour. Dark amber pour, off-white head, thick lacing. Worty aroma with some fruity accents. Flavor has a hint of caramel, some bubble gum, some nutty notes. Thick enough mouthfeel.

Bottle. Pours with a clear brownish-orange body with a small, slightly off-white head that fades somewhat quickly. Aromas of nuts, lightly fruity (esters?), toasty and malt forward. Some cornbread. Lightly hoppy (herbal and grassy). Otherwise pretty clean. A bit sweet up front which slowly fades and finishes malty but dry. Toasty. The initial sweetness is a bit off putting. Crisp, no esters. Some minerality. Pretty clean. Dry, a bit thin, lively bubbles. No astringencies. Pretty decent overall, but nothing spectacular about this beer (for its style or in general). Head is initially small, frothy/fizzy, off-white to light brown, mostly diminishing.
Body is dark amber / medium brown.
Aroma is moderately malty (caramel, cookie, toasted bread), lightly to moderately hoppy (apricot, orange, herbs), with a light note of toffee.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter.
Medium body, watery/syrupy texture, lively/fizzy carbonation.
Solid! The LTD series in general has seen significant improvements over the past couple years, and while I’ve never had this particular one before, it’s probably never been better. Delightful toasty-cookie-toffee-ish malt character with soft citrusy hops. For the modest price, this is a very worthy quaffer.
