Picked up at the COOP tonight... Pours a very clear amber... Nice head but little lacing.. no real complaints.
Nose is all about the malts... I would guess a hint of dark Munich... nice toasty presence.. very clean.
Malty through and through without ever being "sweet".... minor spicy hoppiness, but it is in the background as expected.
Well done... I really like this one... The LTD series has been tickling my lager itch for a while and this is fresh and pretty wonderful.
had a couple falls ago - somehow got missed. A nice enough bready and herbal Oktoberfest beer, but not one that redefines the style or anything. Medium bodied and slightly dry. blutt59 (6609) - Dallas, Texas, USA - APR 22, 2015

Bottle from Trader Joe’s. Deep amber on the pour. Flavor is roasty with a good deal of maltiness. Finishes with a light, beady hop character. 574deadzone (1420) - North Central, Indiana, USA - DEC 12, 2014
Pours a clear bronze with escaping bubbles and a fair khaki head that settles to a thick film, leaving some soapy lace. Nose involves toasted malt, noble hop spice, crusty bread dough, and light lemon. Pretty sweet, fairly bitter. Medium bodied, oily, soft carb, finishing toasty and dry. Nice oktoberfest. A really great version of this style, sorta in the midpoint between the Americanized really sweet versions and the more biscuity German versions I’ve had. Kinda reminds me of honey nut cheerios with less sweetness. Clean on the palate and easy drinking. Really very good stuff, one of the best Marzens I’ve ever tried.

Clear, intense auburn brew with a lacey white head. Standard 12 oz longneck. Sweetish cereal malt aroma with just a tad of toast. Sweet, lightly toasted bready flavors, a little tannic, very lightly tinny like a bock. Quick biscuity finish with some tea in the aftertaste. Thanks to PorterPounder for the trade. Tallahassee. Fl - Publix Supermarket - Mahan. - 12 oz bottle. Pours a sparkling dark copper, light off-white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma has some light toffee accents, a touch of date-like fruitiness. Flavor has a solid malty character with some raisins, bubble gum, a touch of molasses and a bit of toffee in the back end. Mouthfeel has a nice smoothness to it. Soild Oktoberfest. kidmartinek (5007) - austin, Texas, USA - OCT 3, 2014
Dark amber. 1 inch off-white foam. Aroma of alcohol, spent grain and peppery barley. Taste is evaporative alcohol and soapy malt with a tingy malt backbone. Rough finish. Pass. Bricktop86 (937) - Moore, Oklahoma, USA - OCT 1, 2014
