Bottle from Coop in Davis, CA. This brew tasted sour, compared to the Rogue brown I had right before it. Also, it worsened as it warmed. Not great. badlizard (5533) - Berkeley, California, USA - JUN 6, 2008

Bomber from BevMo. Deep ruby in color upon pouring. Roasted chocolate/coffee aroma. Nice sweet nose with a bit of a bitter spiced coffee quality. Roasted nutty flavor. Good coffee flavors. Lightly bitter finish. Good quality brown. StefanSD (2468) - Ouray, Colorado, USA - JUN 2, 2008
650 ml bottle from Bev4less. pours a dark mahogany brown with amber highlights. The head is off-white, creamy, ample and recedes to 1/8 inch and holds. The aroma is medium in strength with coffee, dark fruits, molasses and almonds. The flavor is balanced with roasted malts, dark fruit and coffee. The mouthfeel is just a touch on the thin side, carbonation is adequate. The finish is medium in duration and dry. Overall: This is a very nice brown ale and one of my favorite Full Sail beers to date. Bier brauen (246) - Bremerton, Washington, USA - MAY 30, 2008
Bottle. Nice dark color, with aroma of coffee. Good lacing. Maybe not quite as sweet as a nut brown could be, a just a smidgen thin on the body. But overalll it’s very good.

750ml bottle from BevMo La Jolla. Pours a clear, deep brown with a frothy beige head. Great nose of herbal hops and toasted malt. One of the better Browns out there IMO. presario (4925) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 23, 2008
Tap at the brewery. Lasting thin creamy head. Thick malty aroma. Thick flavour. Rich malt with a bit of chocolate and a bit of bitterness. Brewsmith (148) - Torrance, California, USA - MAY 22, 2008
From a 22oz. bottle purchased locally. Aroma is malty and full of dark fruit, plum and raisin. Color is a deep brown with ruby highlights with a small tan head. Flavor has a touch of toast followed by some rich maltiness and then a touch of roasted grain. Medium body and mouthfeel that dries in the finish from the bitterness and roast. Very clean and full rich flavor. Almost like a lighter brown porter. BlackDonald (1126) - Gulf Shores, Alabama, USA - MAY 22, 2008
A beautiful auburnish brown, with a small off white head that recedes from three fingers to one. Strong toffee nose, with some roasted coffee that follow onto the palate with a sweet creamy mouthfeel, lots of different nuttiness is coming through here, almonds and hazelnuts. Its a bit one dimensional, and not overly impressive, but just enough to keep its head above water, enjoyable enough, but not something I would purchase again.
