On tap. Dark amber with a small off white head. Scent is toasted bread, caramel and chocolate. Taste follows nose with a hint of nuts.

A solid beer from Full Sail. The color was outstanding with slightly lees carb than I anticipated. Solid caramel with cocoa on the front end followed by the spice of the hops on the end. Very dry & drinkable. The beer got better as it warned. I’d like it to be a bit more rich in flavour, but like it dry.

12 oz bottle. Pours brown with off-white, foamy head. Aroma is of nutty, bready malt, hints of coffee and prunes. Body is medium and smooth. Taste is of bready, nutty malt, burned grain, earthy hops, prunes and brown sugar. Finish is medium, bitter. Nice Brown.

Bottle @ home picked up at Wilburs Foco. Pours a clear reddish brown appearance with a thin tan head. Milk chocolate, nutty, almond, toasty malty, caramel, a bit herbal aroma. Fairly herbal, a bit earthy hoppy chocolate, somewhat nutty, somewhat thin flavor. Ok.

A finger of tan head formed on a dark brown colored body. The aroma is wonderful, lots of roasted malt, chocolate and nutty. Pretty good taste too. Roasted malt, bit of chocolate and the mildest bitterness to finish. Tended to be a little watery overall though. The texture is smooth with a bit of bubbles, thinner body with moderate carbonation. A little thicker and this is a big winner, still a good drink though.

Full Sail has been doing great things. This ale has a lot of toasty malt with hints of caramel and coffee, but not too sweet. Fruity hop aroma and medium bitterness.

Roasted malt aroma. Pours a dark transparent brown with little head and no laciing. The taste is much like the nose. Roasted malts with a grainy finish and aftertaste. Not a lot of taste going on here. Medium body with medium carbonation. Overall, disappointing. A rather bland brown ale.

pours a dark brown with finger of grey head. Nutty aroma, hazelnut, soft milk. Flavor is hazelnut, creamy feel, medium bodied, light bitter roast on the finish, soft cocoa. Pretty nice brown ale I think.

Nice and rich, nutty for sure, sweet, and thick. Not the best Nut Brown ever (look towards the UK for that), but good nonetheless for an Oregon beer.

Fruity and herbal character (apple-ish?) from yeast a/o hops; dominates the aroma, with some alcohol. Same things in the flavor--plus some malt flavor (caramel, sweet, toast). Some nuttiness in aftertaste, along with some light astringency (or something like that).
