This delightful brew is a medium-bodied pale ale that is balanced to perfection. It has a fresh hop aroma and a mild sweetness that finishes crisp and clean. This pale ale is brewed in the American style using two Northwest hop varieties, Centennial and Columbus. The fresh hop flavor is balanced with 2-row Pale and Crystal malts

12 oz bottle. Amber orange with a decent off-white head. Aroma is of grass, caramel, malt, cardboard, herbal notes, and driftwood. Taste is of malt, light vinegar (from oxidation), honey, grass, and herbal hops.

Bottle. The look is clear, eggshell colored ok head, and bronze in color. The smell is malt, paper, caramel, fruit, and ok. The taste is hops, grassy, floral, and a dusty malt character.

@ Party Town / Florence KY - Clear medium amber, good 1" white head, swirls and dots of lace. Taste is caramel malt that steadily moves through the palate before adding mild bitters for a balanced finish. Pretty simple, but it has a good deal of taste, and it goes down smoothly. Nice mid-major.

Pours darker orange with a small off white head. Aroma is citrus, floral and bread. Taste is sweet with trace bitters. Medium bodied, easy to drink.

Best by 27JUL12 Pours golden amber with little toasted cream foam atop the ale. Smells oxidized to be honest - cardboard and raw wood with some hints of tea and herbal hops. Very disappointed in the nose here. Flavor is also oxidized with a bit more of an old book smell flavor and some oils, reminds me of the flavor of the skin on a palm; carrying a slight salinity. Medium on thin with a moderate carb and semi dry finish. I bought this beer as a sixer on a gamble, really gonna have to be faded to drink the other five. Serving type: bottle 07-11-2012

Must admit I'm surprised by the lower scores. For me this a lovely, subtle, pale ale, one of my favorites. Clear orange gold with a significant head for a pale ale. Mild caramel from the malt, which carries into some tropical fruits with a distinct mild peach aftertaste from the hops. Very refreshing and still interesting to the palate. A most well balanced beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Fairly blank and undistinguished pale ale. Pours cleanly with no lacing or head of any kind. Really nice aroma. Fruit and hops. Palate a bit bland. Clean finish. Not bad but would not drink again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Not my idea of a pale ale, but better than the macro brews out there, for about the same price. I wouldn’t kick her outa bed.

Easy to drink basic pale ale. Been happy with most of full sails beers, this one left me a tad underwhelmed. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours hazy yellow, with off-white head. Much lighter than a straight IPA. Crisp and fresh, not syrupy or cloying like modern IPAs can be. Hops come through without strong bitterness. Tropical fruit--mango and grapefruit. Light pine. Makes for a satisfying session beer -- which makes it somewhat unique in this genre. Frat beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
