Nice aroma, though not a lot of it, but it looked perfect for an American Pale, with a clean white head, and a beautiful golden color. Defintely tasted great, compared to other pales of its category, but it did seem a tad watery to me, thought ive been drinking so many heavy beers lately, it might just be me. Still, tasty and refreshing. Brew4Dug (139) - Houston, Texas, USA - AUG 22, 2002
Definitely one of my top 5 APA’s. Highly recommended and well worth the $6 I paid for the 6-pack. Cheers!!! herbstress3 (221) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - JUL 28, 2002
A great beer to drink in the Olympic National Forest, soaking in the hot springs while it is raining. ah, refreshment. KingPinHead (390) - Des Moines, Washington, USA - JUL 25, 2002
I liked the aroma--but was so light it was hardly detectable...Color a clear orange-gold with a light lacey head. Tastes of peaches and light tangy hops, but in very light measure. These elements are more prominent in the fine finish, which tickles the back of the palate. Body is adequate for a pale. Overall, I like the ingredients, but the flavors are too watery to supply total satisfaction...just not quite enough ’stuff’ here. GiddyBoy (121) - USA - JUN 17, 2002
Good quality beer. I prefer the Amber, but this is really good for a pale.

UPDATED: OCT 1, 2006 Flowery aroma. Light golden color. Mild sweet malt flavor with a slight hint of grassy hop bitteness. Mild and mellow, but tasty. strictlydomed (34) - Vancouver, Washington, USA - APR 13, 2002
It’s a very nice beer, goes down smoothly without a bad after tast. The smell does not represent the tast of the beer. Murphy (1759) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - APR 13, 2002
UPDATED: NOV 27, 2003 A very nice and easy going pale ale. Affordable too. Aroma is decieving; the beer tastes better than it smells. ReRate as Full Sail VSP: Hops and sweet body meld well together, the finish is quite earthy and pleasent. jpfrog (130) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - APR 10, 2002
A pretty good pale ale, however, it doesn’t have the hoppiness that I love. It smells sort of like piss, which is surprising, because it is a pretty good beer. It has a little to much fizziness for me, and is a little light. However, this is a pretty good beer. Tom Servo (424) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - APR 7, 2002
A good one. Nothing to write home about, but you can buy this and feel good about doing it. And that’s all that matters.
