2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 ounce bottle from mix and match six pack purchased at Finneytown Kroger, tasted on September 1, 2012. Medium amber hue, small lightly off white head, aroma like a pale lager, somewhat watery, light bittersweet taste. I don’t expect the hop presence of an IPA from an APA but it needs to be stronger than this. This beer would be an OK hot weather quaffer but you could get any number of beers to do the same job at a lower price than this stuff goes for. Below average for style
Full sail poured a nice amber body with plenty of carbonation that left ok lace, thin off white head. Mouthfeel was thin and watery, not much aroma to speak of. Flavor of hops, but it was kind of bland, however the finish was nice. It was o.k. but i probably wont purchase it again.
Appearance: pours with a medium off white head, the beer is an average very clear gold color
Aroma: strong flowers, citrus, pine,
Taste: very nice hop flavors of flowers, light pine, citrus, has a light pale malt, light sweetness too
Palate: average carbonation, medium mouthfeel, mild aftertaste
Overall: this is delicious, ranks up there with southern tier live for a very hoppy pale ale, lots of floral and citrus notes, this one hides it's very high for a pale ale abv well

Nice standard pale ale. Good. Has a hoppy aroma of Oregon pine trees. Flavor of mild malts and more pine and medium bitterness. brandon1989 (669) - Lewisville, Texas, USA - JAN 29, 2015
Pours an amber color with a medium white head that left some lacing around the glass. The aroma is caramel, floral hops, and some sweet caramel. The taste is very similar with a mild hop kick. This is a good beer!

"better than average hoppy, refreshing pale ale, but nothing that REALLY stands out within the style. a good enough beer if it’s on sale, but nothing great." Sarlacc83 (2287) - Portland, Oregon, USA - SEP 5, 2014
A: Deep copper with a 1/2" white head. Lacing.
N: Barley and biscuit. Hops lend a spruce and peppercorn element. Some esters and banana. Touch of citrus.
T: A larger than expected hop bitterness. Malt sweetness.
M: Tickling carb and medium body. Creamy.
O: This is far better than expected. Shows its PNW origins; I would drink this time and time again. It hits the spot; seems like it’d be right on style if compared to others in the category. Cunningham (8282) - Halden, NORWAY - AUG 1, 2014
Orange golden colour with a fine white head. Nice lacing. Floral hoppy nose. Medium malty base in the flavour, with lots of hoppy citrus notes. Ok body and a pleasant carbonation. A fine and tasty brew.rumproasts (5592) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - MAR 23, 2014
