I seemed to like this a bit more then the others. True, not nearly as dry as it could or should be. Very thick head- makes me suspect foaming agents. Satisfying mouthfeel. philbertk (1873) - Seattle, Washington, USA - FEB 25, 2010

Tap at Hood River brewery. Light to medium golden in color, clear. Very attractive white fluffy head forms and fades a bit too quickly. No lacing. Aroma is nicely hopped moderately spicey/earthy. Light toasted malt. Really rather full bodied, full mouthfeel yet lively and crisp. Long bitterness throughout. Tasty pilsner, underrated. Murphy (1759) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JUL 24, 2002
Let's get one thing straight: I don't like pilsners, and they don't like me. However, we had agreed to tolerate each other until I drank this beer. What a letdown from such a fine brewer. Why are they using anything other than Cascade hops? Pass me the Old Boardhead, I will have nothing to do with this beer ever again. Golden with minimal head. Aroma is malt with light earth. Flavour has a nice maltiness with noticeable saaz on the finish. Clean trhouout. Nice well made pilsner.

Deep amber, orange color with a slim white head. Decent aroma. Some malt and a hint of wheat, but that's about it. Fairly smooth taste and kind of watered down. A fairly average Pils. Nothing really to write home about. kyzr (1593) - Montana, USA - OCT 18, 2002
Nice color, head was good and white. Good little pilsner with light hop flavor. igneous1 (1538) - Davenport, Iowa, USA - MAR 1, 2002
pretty herbal..but not too bad.............................................. Kaya161 (1139) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 23, 2001
The label says that this is a lager, but it tastes more like an ale to me with fruity yeast flavours. Not nearly as dry and smooth as a good pilsner should be. Tom Servo (424) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - JUL 24, 2002
Nothing to special here, and an amazing lack of bite in the flavor department, especially from such a fine brewer. Lovely golden color, with a smooth texture.
