Tap at Hood River brewery. Light to medium golden in color, clear. Very attractive white fluffy head forms and fades a bit too quickly. No lacing. Aroma is nicely hopped moderately spicey/earthy. Light toasted malt. Really rather full bodied, full mouthfeel yet lively and crisp. Long bitterness throughout. Tasty pilsner, underrated. Gusler (2653) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - DEC 28, 2000
A likeable beer, even if it is a bit light weight. Nice nose and a fair bite. Clean and crisp, drinkable. Aubrey (3516) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - NOV 21, 2003
Clear and golden with a big white head. Lightly carbonated, clean and light on the tongue. Bready and somewhat grainy malts. Floral, earthy and slightly bitter hops. Dry finish. Well made. 3fourths (9357) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JAN 12, 2004
Sampled at the brewery. Light clear yellow. Good lemon and wheaty aroma with a sizable malt presence. Fresh and light, while still frothy makes a good pilsner, one of my favorites.

LIght golden, white head, and a hint of a hop nose. Smooth, tasty, and easily drinkable on those warm summer nights. Im not a huge pilsner fan, but this is as nice a pils as you will find brewed in the US. Kaya161 (1139) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 23, 2001
The label says that this is a lager, but it tastes more like an ale to me with fruity yeast flavours. Not nearly as dry and smooth as a good pilsner should be. legion242 (2348) - Richardson, Texas, USA - NOV 15, 2001
I seemed to like this a bit more then the others. True, not nearly as dry as it could or should be. Very thick head- makes me suspect foaming agents. Satisfying mouthfeel. 666seth (229) - California, USA - JAN 7, 2003
nice!!!! good aroma, crisp finish! nice slight hoppy flavor. One of my favorite Tom Servo (424) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - JUL 24, 2002
Nothing to special here, and an amazing lack of bite in the flavor department, especially from such a fine brewer. Lovely golden color, with a smooth texture.
