Could be the best English Pale Ale I’ve had yet. Very hoppy and full of refreshing light citrus flavors. Light bitter and sweet malts balanced it out almost perfectly. igneous1 (1538) - Davenport, Iowa, USA - APR 18, 2002
foamy head, decent carbonation, amber color, malty nose and fruity flavor... jzzbassman (1638) - Arlington, Texas, USA - NOV 5, 2003
I've had this both on tap and out of the bottle, and my notes say the tap was better although I liked them both. Reminds me a lot of a Fuller's London Pride as the hops are more evident to me than in most EPA's (Bass, Whitbread, etc.). The maltiness in the front really meshes well with th East Goldings hops which always give that nice new mown grass aroma. Reid (2673) - Salem, Oregon, USA - NOV 10, 2003
UPDATED: MAR 19, 2005 Ok another brew from one of my staple beer suppliers :-)..
12 oz brown long neck with white label..and the Full Sail logo is prominent..says on the neck this is a "copper ale"
Ok this is a handsome looking ale as it sits in my mug....like it says nice dark copper colour , topped by a nice solid off white head..the head slowly fades but leaves some excellent lace.
Very malty smelling beer indeed..not chocolate or roasted..just fresh malty smell.
Mm malty tatse to start with as i would expect then it turns into a Ceylon tea like bitterness..very odd but its not unpleasant.
Like the way this beer feels on the tongue very refreshing
Nice drinkable "copper ale" would buy again.

Draught at Farley’s Food, Fun & Pub, Roswell, New Mexico. Served in a frozen mug that was so cold the beer actually had lumps of ice floating around in it....!!

Fine off -white head, hazy amber/orange body. Nose of malt, toffee and yeast. Some fruit also. Quite flavorfull and tasty. Malt, hops, caramel, fruit, citrus and nut. An excellent thirst quencher!
Maybe it’s the hot and tired talking, but I liked this one. Foamy and slightly malty aroma with just a hint of hops. Clove and smoky malt flavors, with just a touch of lacing left by the head. NYHarvey (2153) - New York, New York, USA - MAR 28, 2006

Floral hops with a toasty malt undertone. Amber in color with a slowly diminishing thumb thick white head. Toasted, nutty malt in the fore...stale fruits, caramel and peanut skin flavors all make and appearance. Pretty decent. jpm30 (1587) - East Central, Georgia, USA - MAY 13, 2006
From a 12oz. twist cap long neck brown bottle with an impressive painting of Agate Beach on the neck label and a best before date stamped on shoulder of bottle, 07/23/06.
Made a good appearance, poured an orange hued copper with a foamy off-white head that settled into a thin, minimally sticking lacing, good carbonation.
Had a toasted grainy, with caramel at edges, malty nose, earthy and yeasty also.
A crisp, creamy lightish medium bodied mouth feel, very good drinkability, easy and smooth.
Good tasting, toasted grains, apple fruity, light sweet caramel maltiness, smooth hop bitterness, earthy, light tropical fruity and a dryish sweet grainy finish.
I enjoyed this APA from Full Sail, a lot of English Pale Ale characteristics, tasty and balanced.

Had this beer on 10/8/2002. Aroma is a lightly sweet malt scent. Color is a rich brown with a hint of red to it. Carbonation is good with a nice head. Taste is malty with a mild bitterness. Starting with a light medium body with a smooth feel. Finish is a nice crisp malty taste backed by a mild bitterness. This is a very smooth and well balanced beer.
