On tap at Falling rock listed as "Saison de Full Sail". Pours almost identical to the RR publication which I had side by side. Pours a nice hazy yellow with a monstrous white head and great lace. Aroma is highly phenolic but nicely yeasty with great saison character, a bit of dirt, brett funk, earth, light burnt wire, toasted and bready malts, and nicely hopped- earth and floral. Doughy slightly earthy flavor, with nice phenolic yeast, funk is earthy with some horse, toasted malts, great typical saison character and a nice earthy hoppy finish and very dry- smooth. Held its own next to the publication. HonkeyBra (4044) - Lemont, Illinois, USA - OCT 10, 2009
Cloudy, golden pour with creamy white head. Aroma of hay, light funk, bread. Flavor is pretty good: yeasty, a bit of funk and dust. Some citrus in there too. Nice mouthfeel, with good carbonation. Very good interpretation of the style. boFNjackson (4230) - Portland, Oregon, USA - AUG 30, 2009
UPDATED: AUG 31, 2009 Tap @ Saraveza... Poured golden, hazy yellow with a white head. Faint, earthy, malts on the nose. Creamy palate with yeast flavors, wheat malts and earthy spices. Mild bit of hops and a candy sweetness. MI2CA (1340) - Noblesville, Indiana, USA - SEP 16, 2009
4oz sample at Full Sail Hood River - labeled "Saison A Pleine Voile", assuming it is the same - Aroma of doughy yeast and lemon with a touch of hops. Flavor matches with a little spice thrown in. Palate is creamy and tart. Tasty and clean but not funky. bu11zeye (13239) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - OCT 9, 2009
(Draught) Pours a lightly cloudy golden orange body with a small white head. Aroma of orange peel, grass, florals, leather, horseblanket, and bread. Flavor of lemon, orange, yeast, earth, brett, and biscuit with a somewhat dry, bitter finish.

Tap at Falling Rock - a surprisingly solid saison - very dry and flinty throughout, with just a hint og yeastiness on the tail end - a bit of melon and lemon rind - moderate spicy character and a lot of dry, herbal bitterness - not lacking Full Sail’s house flavor, but it works well in this style - nice. illinismitty (2377) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - SEP 26, 2009
Draft at Falling Rock in Denver. Pours a hazy gold with a dissipating white head. Aroma is not very aggressive, but I pick up some lemon and pale malts. Lighter side of medium bodied with soft fine carbonation. Flavor of pale Belgian malts, spicy clove phenols, and citrus zest. There is not much sweetness on this one, and finish is semi-dry. Could use a little more funk and tartness for my tastes Ratman197 (15616) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - SEP 28, 2009
On tap at Falling Rock poured a hazy yellow with a lasting off white head. Aromas of straw, barnyard funk, light leather, light fruittiness and light spice. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of straw, barnyard, spice and light fruittiness with a smooth dry finish. That1Guy (2240) - Colorado, USA - JAN 11, 2010
Crushed with Honkeybra at GABF. NIce nose of funk and grass. Flavor is just as nice with some hops in there. Nice dry finish. Good example of the style. troopie (2497) - Munchen an der Willamette, Oregon, USA - JUL 13, 2009
Draught at Horse Brass. Poured cloudy orange with thick head. Much lacing. Much wheatiness and citrus in aroma. Flavour much more restrained. Light finish.
