March 9, 2012 - with blankboy, gregclow, jercraigs & mabel. Bomber (Brewmaster Reserve 2011) c/o blankboy. Slightly hazy deep amber with a smallish but lasting light tan frothy head (4-). Really mild aroma - floral, only light Belgian caramel spicy malt, mostly floral. Taste is nice - pungently sweaty, tons of yeasty caramel and fruit, some alcohol presence. Fairly thick, acceptable carbonation, finishes quickly with just an odd hint of sourness - would like a bit more spiciness. kayres (888) - , Georgia, USA - SEP 11, 2012
Pours brownish orange with a thin tan head. Sweet plummy malt aroma. Smooth vanilla brown sugar flavors

Bomber from Hayduke. We shared one via facebook chat. This was reddish brown and had a nice beige head. A nose of ripe fruit, soft hops, and some Belgian yeast. In the flavor the hops and yeast stayed subtle but were noted. This was dominated by dark and over ripe fruit. Raisins were on display. At one point chocolate lead but it was mostly in the background. The malt was kind of syrupy and was sweet. Alcohol was tasted and seemed bigger than 7%. I liked it and found it tasty and complex enough to be fun. SDalkoholic (2444) - Linda Vista, California, USA - AUG 23, 2012
Bottle from BevMo: Created a decent layer of fluffy foam for a head while the liquid was a burnt orange hue and had thousands of carbonation bubbles rising to the top. In the aroma, my nose picks up on some sweet candy sugar and complex syrupy malts while there is obviously a scent of spicy Belgian yeast. The drink seemed to be fairly balanced between the malt and yeast while a taste of sugar and spice flavor round it all out, but I’d have to say this does have a bit of a harsh alcohol presence.

Very nice dubbel that pours a dark chocolate color with a nice two finger head. Aroma is sweet of toffee and chocolate. Nice alcohol content keeps it warm in the belly. thooper41 (556) - BELGIUM - JUL 30, 2012
22oz bottle: Appearance is a dark brown with slow fading creamy off white head. Aroma is just slightly grainy. Taste is slightly Belgian with notes of spices some orange and Belgian yeast and finishes with some floral hops. Decent but an obvious impostor. dfinney23 (3424) - Houston, Texas, USA - JUN 9, 2012
May have been an old/compromised bottle as it poured with almost no head, though it didn’t taste flat. Raisin, caramel and yeast aromas and flavors. elizabethmarie (37) - - JUN 5, 2012
Dark, cloudy beer. Rather unpleasant aroma. Very smooth though with a very nice finish. Shink (177) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUN 5, 2012
Pours copper with a fine white head. Aroma is sweet and malty. Taste is malty with too sweet of a finish. Not to bad, but there are better Belgians out there.
