This beer is too much soda like, cola in particular. Full Sail is nothing special from experience. jeremytoni (3083) - Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA - FEB 3, 2012
From a bottle poured a dark amber/brown color with a small amount of head. Sweet malty flavor with a quick finish. Blairgus (4615) - California, USA - FEB 3, 2012
3 feb 2012, bottle. Red/amber, clear. Great nose. I’d almost say smells like a barley wine than a quad. Sweet, wet bread, warm cherries, alcohol and raisins. Great! Med/thin body and fizzy. Too fizzy for the beer. Sweet bready beer with not as much alcohol or taste complexity as I hoped.

Pours out a amber/orange topped with a small off white head. Aroma of pit fruit, spice, brown sugar, and some yeast. Taste was much as the aroma with the sweetness of the pit fruit and brown sugar Braudog (6837) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - JAN 15, 2012
Bottle. Poured thin and chestnut brown, what little carbonation and head there is almost immediately clearing out. The aroma leans towards the expected brown sugary essence of many a dubbel, but is actually pretty restrained. The flavor boasts more aggressively, asserting a kick of acohol and cooked caramel. 22 oz bottle, 2011. Pours dark amber, almost brown, very little head that retreats to a white ring, no lacing to speak of. Smells sweet, malty, caramel, mild alcohol. Tastes malty, caramel, gingerbread?, mild bitterness at the finish. Full bodied mouthfeel. Not bad for an american interpretation of the dubbel style. mar (5444) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JAN 4, 2012
caramel brown with a cream head. nose is sweet caramel, brown sugar, toffee, and dried fruits. easy on the palate, very malt heavy, super sweet, chewy caramel, and a lightly spiced finish. blipp (9696) - La Mesa, California, USA - JAN 4, 2012
Bottle. Pours amber with an off white head. Light spicy yeasty aroma with some sweeter and toasty malty notes. The flavor is on the bland side, with some light banana-like fruity sweetness, spicy yeast, and toasted malts. Decent. CamdenD (1204) - Madrid, SPAIN - JAN 1, 2012
A very drinkable dubbel. Nothing extraordinary whatsoever. Clean yet nicely resiny aftertaste. This gets hurt by a bit of tweenerism. Not exciting enough to seek out but probably a bit sweet for session drinking. deekyn (1459) - San Francisco, California, USA - DEC 29, 2011
