Bottle shared by a friend. Clear red/orange pour with a thin off-white head. Dank and musty malt aroma with some banana. Cloying sweet flavor with caramel, cherry and banana character. Not my thing. blutt59 (6562) - Dallas, Texas, USA - NOV 23, 2010
bottle, orange golden color with a thin caramel and fruit aroma, flavor of grainy watery fruits, boring disappointing beer Aml42000 (622) - Washington, USA - MAY 11, 2012
Nothing much resembling a Dubbel outside of color. No aromatics to speak of and a sweet, nearly cloying palate. Kevin (2199) - Montana, USA - SEP 11, 2010
pours brown orange with a grey head that lasts. smells of wet tobacco with a dough note flavor is a bit odd, seems like it has mint in it. i don’t like mint, but that is what i taste, lots of pepper, especially in the finish. burnt sugar in the body of this thin beer. little sweet at first, but turns dry quick. 22 ounce bottle purchased at the Woodland Nugget. Aroma is minerally, with plenty of sweet, sugary, candy notes. Light dustiness and a bit of yeast ester comes through. Pretty straight forward. Transparent orange body with a small, weak off yellow head. Starts sugary, cloying, and very sweet. Has a little roastiness in the middle with some bubblegummy yeast flavors towards the end. Some toasted malts are also in there. This is underattenuated and just sort of a mess. Laughable try at a dubbel. I’d expect this out of an inexperienced homebrewer.

some malt and alcohol aroma the beer is sweet with some spice and dishwater. a little white pepper, coriander and clove like flavor with barely moderate cold lightly carbonated body. light toffee, vanilla like altogether a mish mash type of brew unidentifiable with a dead finish with perhaps a fleeting cherry gum. yes very soda like, dead soda.
