22oz Bottle. Pours out a amber/orange topped with a small off white head. Aroma of pit fruit, spice, brown sugar, and some yeast. Taste was much as the aroma with the sweetness of the pit fruit and brown sugar.

The whole purpose of buying the boat in the first place was to get the ladies nice and tipsy top side, so we can take them to a nice comfortable place below deck, and you know, they can’t refuse...because of the implication.. MaBeer1972 (2144) - Reno, Nevada, USA - APR 1, 2011
A very interesting take on this style. A clear light amber brew. Good carbonation. Sweet-spice aromas. Flavor is nice and malty - medium body. Good balance. Spice notes. Clean, lasting malty finish. Not bad at all. SphinxTX (2875) - Mata Gorda, Texas, USA - SEP 17, 2011
Bottle. Pours a clear/hazy brown with off-white head. Aroma of light dark fruit, faint horse blanket, subtle spiciness, light chocolate with a hint of must. Flavor is much the same with a hint of grape and black pepper. Mourhfeel is medium body with soft, fizzy carbonation. Overall, not a bad brew!

Brown - good head. Toasted cereal aroma with more malt mixed with Belgian funk in the taste. Only a bit of hops flavor and bitterness mixed with Belgian flavors and a brown ale. Sammer (1119) - Plano, Texas, USA - OCT 31, 2011

Pours hazy, cloudy dark amber with a very small light tan head. Aroma is of sweet malts, Belgian yeast, fruits, spices, a little citrus. Lots of Belgian flavor, Belgian yeast, sweet malts and dark fruits plus some hops at the end. DialSquare (5123) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - NOV 8, 2011
Bomber from Liquor Loft. Copper pour with a tan head that leaves a ring. Aroma is a pleasant mix of caramel, dark fruit, sugar, and bread. Taste is fairly straightforward - mellow doughy yeast and sweet caramel candy malts. Herbal spice in the finish. Nothing bad to say about it - pretty smooth. ben4321 (6678) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - MAR 2, 2012
Location: 22 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 3/2/12
Aroma: The nose is fairly sweet, with some fruity notes, spice, brown sugar, and a little yeast
Appearance: Pours a somewhat cloudy orange-amber color with a small head and spotty lacing
Flavor: The taste is fairly sweet as well, with sugary flavors, and some fruit and malt sweetness
Palate: It is medium bodied, drinks pretty smoothly, with a soft carbonation, and just a hint of heat
I thought this was a pretty nice Doubel. It is perhaps a bit one dimensional on the sweet side, but the sweetness isn’t cloying. There’s also a slight alcoholic dryness that shows up in the finish. I liked it.
