4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Poured from the stubby bottle into a tulip glass. Very dark, but not black. Held up to the light there are some red hues. A nice 1 inch thick head formed. Eventually it went down to just barely covering the surface.
Fairly aromatic for a lager. The dark malt is most evident with a slight hint of dry hay.
Mmm. A lager with some dark malt flavor. However, the malt does not turn this beer into a sweet tasting beer like many other Schwarzbiers. For that, I really like this. The taste is a straight forward lager with the added bit of dark maltiness and a slight bitterness at the end.
Light and moderately carbonated.
All day long. It is a "Session" beer after-all. Those who appreciated a little more flavor in their lagers will enjoy this even more.
12 fl oz bottle. Pours dsrk brown with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty. Light breadish. Roasted malt, breadish and sligh sweet caramelish. Lingering roasted breadish into the finish. crossovert (13080) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 15, 2017

325ml bottle. Clear, mahogany colour with small, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Caramel malty and minimally nutty aroma, a touch of milk chococlate. Taste is slightly sweet caramel malty, minimally nutty, a touch of milk chococlate, minimally citrusy hoppy counterweight, a spicy touch of liquorice; oily texture, super soft palate. sinfull (1675) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - JUN 6, 2017
Dark brown color. Medium-sized, beige head. Aroma of roasted malt and chocolate. Sweet, malty taste with bitter , roasted notes at the end. Seemed kind of weak and thin. Not bad though.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass at the World of Beer in Pooler, GA. The appearance is a dark brown to black color with a medium sized off-white head. The aroma is a mostly chocolate with some malt. The taste follows the nose. A very good beer. 17Beer (371) - Connecticut, USA - SEP 5, 2016

11 oz bottle in Oregon.
Mild flavor and aroma but strong enough to leave a light lingering flavor of dark roasted grains and light bitter hops.
Solid but not extraordinary flavor. Exceptional soft and smooth but lively mouthfeel.

Session signature short bottle, skipped the pour. Thanks to Eugene for the bottle/reminder that I never rated this back in my Session kick days. Creamy chocolate malt. Almost like a sweet cream, milk chocolate porter. Interesting, unique lager. Dark, but cool finish. Pretty good stuff. fordest (2470) - Santee/San Diego, California, USA - FEB 24, 2016
Bottle from Trader Joes that I took camping. Roasty black flavors were nicer than most lagers. This was not too bad really.
