Light honey gold color with lots of carbonation. Faint white head. Light grainy with lager character. Faint malt flavor with a tinge of hops. Aptly named, this would be an excellent beer for popping open after a hot day outside. johnadam2002 (529) - Hainesport, New Jersey, USA - MAY 31, 2007
Cool looking bottle, average beer. Pours yellow with little white head that lasted 5 seconds. Aroma of light hops and light malt. Flavor was the same. Nothing exciting but another bottle to put on my wall. Linc (739) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - MAY 29, 2007
Crystal clear with an elegant white head. Lightly hopped aroma, not trying to be anything but a basic, good lager. Clean malt on the palate, subdued bitterness, really easy drinking. boboski (1095) - Alabama, USA - MAY 21, 2007
Cute little bottle. I want to hurl it across the room after I pull the pin, er, cap off, it looks like a beery grenade. Pours a crystal clear golden with moderate visible carbonation. A creamy, thin, pure white head is slow to recede and leaves behind just a touch of lacing. Aroma is of adequate lightly toasted grains, mild grassy hops, some oats and maize. Light and well structured, the nose is unnoffensive though quite boring. Flavor is mostly balanced, erring on the sweet side. Mild sweetness surrounds a sharp but light bitterness. Acidity and carbonation are low, drinkability high. The hoppiness is tasty. Mouthfeel is soft with moderate prickly carbonation and hefty body for a session-style premium lager. Finishes mildly hoppy and sticky, fruity sweetness lingering. There is nothing offensive or out of the ordinary here, just a boring beer. I can’t think of a suitable time or place where this would be a first, or even distant second choice. BillKismet (4057) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAY 13, 2007
Pale blonde, faded head. Remnants of hops in the aroma. Dank, swill tasting with cardboard finish. Hard to find any redemptive qualities.

Exactly as the label states... this is a nice session beer. Drank this beer while watching the Warriors punish the Jazz in game 3. Extremely smooth drinking for a lager goes down easy. It’s also not ultra-carbonated like a lot of lagers. I feel like I got ripped off a little bit though... the bottles are only 11 ounces, what happened to the my 12th ounce!? Good beer for it’s style. A step backwards or a worthwhile experiment in needed lagers, this is a cheesy smelling but medium lager with drying bitterness. Drinkable. STEPHENDR (478) - California, USA - MAY 4, 2007
11 oz. bottle- color of golden yellow , with a thin white head - nose of grassy , malt , some detergent , oats , slight sweetness , and mild hops – taste of grass , soapy , mild hops , and white wine? - body is light , with some acidity , and with medium carbonation – aftertaste of white wine , mild hops and grasses thebaldwizard (1207) - Ohio, USA - MAY 2, 2007
SKunky ass shit aroma. Pale yellow color. Medium palate for a a lager. Malts, honey, and some yeast in the taste. Nice lager flavor really, and easy to drink. If only the aroma was a little more pleasant... pbrick (13) - Roseville, California, USA - MAY 1, 2007
For what this beer is designed to be - a light beer for everyday drinking - this is near perfect. With the weather warming this has the crisp hop bittering to balance a mild sweetness. Yes, this is a great beer by any measure - not something you’ll settle into at the end of the day, but perfect for the days spent working around the house or in the campground. This beer is exactly what this beer market needs.
