This is a good every-day beer. Comes in 12-packs of stubby bottles, which feels good drinking out of. Not too heavy taste, and thin head, but thankfully its cheap, and tastes better than grocery-store beer.

light all around, hint of hops in the aroma. flavor is mild. its a beer you can drink at social events without looking like a beer snob but not having to drink total crap either. i can swig several of these down without getting too "full" or drunk either. which is what its meant for, i guess. comes in cheap 12-packs, i actually prefer this bottle shape over the longneck style.

I drink this time to time, right out of the bottle because it seems right for this beer. This is probably what American lagers were like long before my time: a touch watery, full malt flavor on the tongue, a FRESH taste, oh so nice finish and evident alcohol content. Pricey micro but not dramatic in contrast to designer ales. The 11oz bottle is gimmicky but comfortable like an exact replica of a samller Red Stripe. Enjoyable.

Bottle... Clear yellow lager with a small, creamy, frothy, white head. Excellent, small, creamy retention. Spicy, peppery nose. Well-balanced, moderately sweet, moderately bitter flavor with biscuit and pilsener malt. Light to medium-bodied with a lightly creamy mouthfeel and reserved carbonation. Short, crisp, mostly clean finish. Ends up a bit thin and watery.

Bottle. Yellow with a foamy head. Simple flavor and aroma. Malts and hops well balanced. smooth and easy. A good lager, as far as they go. Good BBQ beer.

This is a good lager. Light aroma of hops. Yellow body with a tall head. Medium bitter flavor with hops and malt. Almost a pilsner.

MrRomero (1976) - Nolanville, USA - MAR 9, 2007
Bottle from Dan McGuinness Irish Pub in Moore, Oklahoma: poured light golden yellow with a small, thin white head which dissipated quickly. Mostly grain aroma with a bit of hops. Flavor is grain, light corn, light hops. Decent beer and a cool bottle but for some reason I felt cheated only getting 11 ounces.

Pours a clear golden with a very minimal head. Very strong grainy nose with hints of corn, bread, and some other grainy sweetness. Medium carbonation with a slight citrus flavor to accent the cereal grain sweetness. Actually not that bad for a premium lager, but Grain Belt Premium it is not.

UPDATED: MAR 1, 2007 The aroma has both barley and corn malt with weak grassy hops. The appearance is pale gold with a small head. The flavor is like the aroma but also a little bit fruity. The palate is thin with an astringent aftertaste. This is an interesting take on a lager but I am not all together sure its one I would want in a drinking session. As a side note, The bottle is an 11oz slick looking bullet shape. Cool
