Draught. This is a pretty weak stout that does not really capture the style well. But tasty enough.

On nitro at Full Sail. Thick creamy head totally opaque black in glass. Deep smokey malt with oatmeal like body. Nice Irish style stout.

On tap at Full sail in Hood River. Colour... black with a thin tan head. Nose... roasted malt and gentle hops. Palate... nicely dry, yet coating, light hops, roasty malt and a delightfully dry finish. Dead ringer for a dry irish stout. Well done!

Tap at full sail brewpub, hood river, OR. Roasted malt aroma with chocolatey notes. Pours black with a light brown head and excellent lacing. Roasted malt and chocolate and finishes extremely smooth. Great full bodied beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Beardface (1517) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - OCT 10, 2009
Tap at the brewery. They didn’t say it was on nitro, but it sure tasted like it. Poured deep black with a small tan head that faded almost immediately. Aroma of roast, chocolate and a lactic note. Flavor was light roast and chocolate, dark malts. Mouthfeel was extremely thin and it finished very dry. Okay, but too thin in the mouth for my personal tastes.

4oz sample at Full Sail Hood River - Nitro - Aroma has lots of roasted dark malts, chocolate and milky. Flavor matches but is lactic. Palate is creamy and thin. Not bad.

On tap at the taproom at Harborside McCormimck and Schmick’s in Portland. Tasted pours from nitro and cask. Has a very smoky bacon aroma with touch of chocolate. Pours black with a tan head. Medium body and very dry bitter finish, per the style.

Hophazard (193) - San Francisco, California, USA - FEB 28, 2011
Roasted malt with hints of chocolate. Black, opaque pour with tiny bubbly taupe head. Roasted graininess begins, followed by a bittersweet chocolate. Bitterness is moderate. Creamy pour from nitro, but also makes the body seem lighter. Sessionable stout.
