COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Every aspect of this IPA is amplified from the upfront hop aroma and bitterness to the big malt body. Slipknot features a big Northwest hop aroma and robust bitterness balanced with a full malt body. Cascade, Crystal, Brewers Gold, and Cluster hops deliver pungent scents of citrus and pine. Extensive dry-hopping enhances this character with flavors to match. Northwest 2 Row Pale, Crystal and Rye malts add a rich spicy malt character. This full bodied IPA pours a rich golden-orange hue that glows like the late winter sun.

22-oz bottle. Pours hazy amber with an average, rocky, off-white head, lasting with good lacing. Aroma is average malt (grain, meal), heavy hops (candied fruit, flowers, pine, resin), average yeast (sweat, dough) with notes of peach, pear, and apricot. Medium bodied, sticky texture, lively carbonation, and a bitter finish. Long duration, moderate sweetness, heavy acidity and bitterness.

22oz bottle-pours a big foamy to rocky light tan head that laces and hazy/cloudy gold color. Aroma is caramel, medium malt, then resin hops with some citrus, alcohol. Taste is caramel, medium malt, then resin hops with some citrus, alcohol, and a fruity tartness. Medium body. An OK beer, disappointing for an I2PA. this rating is more than my usual on style and less to my taste. Thanks Wasatch.

Bottled. Dark golden coloured. Uncelar. Fluffy beige head. Herbal and flowery aroma with distinct piney notes. Flavour is heavily hoppy. Herbs and fruits with light citrusy notes. Caramel notable. Medium to full bodied. Is quite balanced. Nice heavy bitterness in the end countered by a light sweetness. Thx. Papsoe for sharing.

Bottle Clear amber ale with a small, fizzy, white head. Decent retention. Earthy tomahawk (?) and simcoe hop nose with a whisper of caramalt. Full-bodied and silky with reserved carbonation. Moderate, fruity sweetness (fuzzy and tropical); medium to heavy, earthy, citrus bitterness. Lengthy, tannic, bitter finish. A shout goes out to mgumby10 for popping the top on this one!

Cloudy golden with a medium sized off white head. Aroma had tangerine, grapefruits, hops and peach. Flavor was very dry with plenty of hops that gave notes of tangerine, peach, grapefruit, pine and lemons. finished bone dry and very bitter. I liked it for its very exotic fruitiness and cause it was dry and bitter. Nice one.

Bottle, shared wih Parksy. Pours a cloudy honey gold with a brief golden head. Aroma is reedy maltiness and resinous vegetal hops. Flavour is hoppy, but somewhat soapy rather than citric or resinous. Not as smooth as Id like. The hop character just doesnt satisfy as much as Id hoped. Decent, but one was enough.

This orange ale poured with a modest off-white head and a sweet malty aroma. The flavor is caramel malt with a grassy bitter hop finish. The overall flavor is unusual, but not entirely pleasing.
