Bottle sampled at SIB, pours hazy dark orange. Aroma of light hops and caramel malt. Fairly standard, muted hops with a solid malt backbone. Not a great IPA. bhensonb (16122) - Woodland, California, USA - JUL 5, 2010
Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours amber gold with a foamy beige 3 finger head. Aroma is very floral. Medium body with foamy carbonation. Flavor is very mild malt with a lot of floral and a little citrus for hop. Finishes definitely bitter. Bitter lingers. Having said that, it does seem a bit under flavored. Don’t know why. It has a lot of bitter. Maybe I’ve been over doing Impy styles. This is a really good and bitter IPA. Ratman197 (15750) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - SEP 29, 2010
Bomber poured a clear orange amber with a lasting creamy amber head. Aromas of cracker, orange zest, light earthiness, light tropical fruit and a hint of spice. Palate was light to medium bodied and crisp. Flavors of crackers, orange zest, tropical fruit, light earthiness and a hint of pine with a crisp lingering biter finish. 22 ounce bottle from Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA. Pours a clear amber color with a medium head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of citrus hops with a bit of a tropical note and faint malty notes. The taste is very bitter, resiny and herbal hops with some green apple notes. Medium bodied. Interesting, but not really to my liking.

Rich orange pour, white head. Thanks to walter for this one. AKA Dionysus. Tart oranges, citrus peel, resin, honey, syrup. Flavor is bitter and hoppy followed by a nice honey malt and fruity note. Pretty good brew! marcus (10972) - Sacramento, California, USA - SEP 17, 2010
Pours dark golden with a nice beige head and a floral fruit aroma. There is a substantial caramel malt base that starts sweet and is quickly overcome with dry hop bitterness. It works pretty well. DuffMan (10930) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 11, 2012
Bottle. Not sure of the freshness here, as my label says 2010. Hmmmm. Anyway, it pours out a hazy fairly bright orange with a medium off white head. No lace. Aroma is more malty than hoppy, sweet cereal, earthy veggie hop nuances. Not very appealing. The palate shows similar structure in that it features sweet cereal malts more prominently than aromatic hops. There is a lot of bitterness in here, but not much to elevate the palate. The hop character is more medicinal and astringent than anything. Not that great.
