UPDATED: SEP 1, 2010 Standard pale orange appearance, nice head, fairly clear. Aroma was a change, as non-standard IPA hops were used - big aroma of bitter hops, but instead of the classic C notes, there were lots of floral and earth components. Flavor matched - just enough malt to hold things together in a beer that focused on an unusual hop profile. Interesting, although not my all time favorite. As it warmed, anise and orange marmalade notes came through as well. Bonus points for originality. DYCSoccer17 (3708) - Woodland, California, USA - AUG 19, 2010
22 ounce bottle from the Davis Food Co-op. Has the same husky, grainy Full Sail house character that I have become very bored with. Some spicy, grassy hop aromas come through...perhaps some Nelson Sauvin? Smells reminiscent of Anchor Humming, and that is not good. Just sorta swampy. Modestly hazy copper body (perhaps chill haze) with a good whitish head and nice lacing present. Starts sweet before this becomes toasting and cloyingly sweet, milky, and generally repulsive in the middle. Finishes with some spicy, grassy hops. Some floral notes are also in there. This is just entirely fucked up and reminiscent of vomit. What ever happened to Full Sail? alexanderj (3605) - Branson, Missouri, USA - NOV 13, 2010
Bottle; poured a clear orange color with frothy head. Aroma of earth, fruit, spice, and grapes. Flavor had a grape element to it. Alot actually. Malt was light, with some nw fruit and earthy hops. A bit thin NachlamSie (3570) - Denver, Colorado, USA - SEP 6, 2010

Bomber from the CBX. Pours a cloudy bright orange with a white head. The aroma is not super strong like I prefer my IPA’s, but it is clean and hoppy. Notes of lemons, grass and cough drops. The flavor is bright, zesty and non-aggressive. There is juicy citrus all over. It’s a refreshing IPA and a little different than what I’d expect from a west coast brewer.
bottle at azwine 10/27/10.
orange gold color with a small white head.
the aroma is earthy... kinda woody/dirty in the hop department along with orange, grass, florals and some vanilla?.
the flavor is the same but sweeter than ideal with a bitterish finish. meh. 6/3/6/3/3.1

Bottle @ Beer Revolution. Pours a clear amber color with a medium head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of citrus hops with a bit of a tropical note and faint malty notes. The taste is very bitter, resiny and herbal hops with some green apple notes. Medium bodied. cbkschubert (2901) - BFE, Arizona, USA - OCT 16, 2010

22 oz bottle. Clear orange/yellow with a dense off white head. Aroma of peaches and citrus. Strong bitter flavor with a fruity finish and a moderate alcohol presence. Medium body with active carbonation and a dry bitter finish. Decent IPA. Beergeek23322 (2643) - Chester, Virginia, USA - JUL 16, 2013
July 2010. Bottle. Good hop balance, caramel, pine and floral notes. Amber color with a white head. Somewhat generic IPA, but I kinda like it.
