Bomber from Hop City, Atlanta. I’ve never been the biggest fan of Full Sail’s IPAs. They’ve always struck me as competent but slightly deficient in character and complexity. This one, however, I kind of dug. Modest hazy gold pour, with a medium, creamy head. Nose was far less "aggressive" than the commerical description suggested. Clean, fruity, and dry, almost like a nice pils. Medium dry mouthfeel enhanced that impression. Flavor was more conventionally IPA-ish in its hop profile, but it still had something of the earthy bitterness in the finish that faintly recalled Stone 14. Bomber. Clear gold pour, short white head, minimal lace. Nicely balanced all the way through with toasty and faintly sweet malt matching resin and spruce herbs with a hint of tartness and floral aroma at the long finish. Medium body and carbonation, average mouth feel. bb (9268) - Alamo, California, USA - JUL 8, 2010
Bottle. Amber beer witha cream colored head. Grapefruit aroma. Grapefruit, pine, and light earthy flavor. Medium bodied. Nice bitterness. Pine and grapefruit lingers with light tropical fruit and light earth. Braudog (6712) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - AUG 1, 2010
Draft at Cafe Amsterdam. Dark orange with a creamy head. Rich with a woodsy citric bite. Tangy finish. Makes me smack my lips. (#3957, 8/1/2010) leems (406) - Portland, Oregon, USA - AUG 9, 2010
Burnt orange, a little dark, minimal head. Aroma is earth and floral, flavor is pretty malty with bitterness and some earth and floral hop flavors. Finish is sweet.

Draft @ The Sushi Bar, McCall, ID: Pours a golden color with a nice white head. The nose is bright and hoppy with orange and grapefruit, light citrus and moderate malty body. The flavor is clean and light, a very pleasing IPA with a unique hop profile. I drank many pints of this over the summer at the sushi bar. radagast83 (8059) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - SEP 18, 2010
Bomber. Poured a golden amber color with a foamy, slightly off-white head. Aroma was floral hops, slightly sweet malts. Flavor was bitter, hoppy, malty, a well balanced beer rounded off with a nice citrus character. PorterPounder (7968) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - NOV 27, 2010
Savannah, Ga - Habersham Beverage Warehouse - 22 oz bomber. Pours a slightly murky medium orange with a medium thick sticky white head. Aroma is fresh and floral with hints of spruce. Flavor has a nice subtle bitterness to it with some white grape accents, a brief bit of citrusy goodness and some back end nuttiness. Mouthfeel is crisp, but not quite as thick and chewy as I would expect a Full Sail IPA to be. ads135 (4607) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - SEP 19, 2012
One of my least favorite Full Sail’s so far. Light in hops, some butter flavor and a bit unbalanced. Still, very drinkable. Watery. Beergeek23322 (2602) - Chester, Virginia, USA - JUL 16, 2013
July 2010. Bottle. Good hop balance, caramel, pine and floral notes. Amber color with a white head. Somewhat generic IPA, but I kinda like it.
