2011 backlog. Bomber. Pours cloudy orange with a thin white head. The nose is perfumey hops and malt. The taste is fruity hops, toffee and a major bitter resin finish that lingers. Medium bodied. OK IPA but unbalanced. 3.2 LtDan (1808) - Los Angeles County, California, USA - MAY 26, 2010
Appearance: Pours a bright clear copper amber with a frothy tan film of foam.troopie (2588) - Munchen an der Willamette, Oregon, USA - JUL 1, 2010
Aroma: Big grassy hops and slight lemon and catty notes as well.
Taste: That signature metallic bitter taste from Full Sail, I believe it to be the yeast, grassy hops, a little bit of honey like malt and a tad bit of citrus. Finishes very bitter.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied and fairly carbonated.
Overall: It’s big, it’s bitter, but it’s not my favorite varieties of hops. I’d love to hear the locals weigh in on this beer.
Bottle. Poured orange with medium white head. Much lacing. Citrusy aroma, but marred by an unfortunate warm rubber smell. Pleasant hoppy flavour, not too bitter. Well balanced. nimbleprop (9142) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - JUL 13, 2010
22oz bottle pours a transparent bright orange with a thin white head. Nose is spicy, oranges, light soap, floral, perfume. Flavor is sweet, oranges, malts, caramel, citrus zest. Medium bodied and lightly sweet. Kind of blah. boFNjackson (4202) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 15, 2010
Bottle... Poured orange with a white head. The nose consisted of herbs, reefer, floral, hops, and vegetables. A very earthy, vegetable-like IPA. The hops weren’t resinous or alpha-ish bitter. Just earthy, spicy and floral. Some biscuit grains and malts to create a subtle sweetness. With a dry, earthy, grassy finish.

Not bad, not good. Another diactyl seasoned IPA. But on the bright side, Its amber gold with thin white head, and goes well after a good one like Stone 14. Beerona97 (2399) - Washington, USA - AUG 1, 2010
Pours clear orange with a foamy white head that fades. Aroma of mostly grain and some citrus rind. Taste has lots of grainy malt also with a mild hop bitterness. SSSteve (4007) - - AUG 15, 2010
22oz bottle. clear orange under a small white head. peach, mandarin orange and apricot scents. a light bodied beer light to moderate carbonation. bitter and dry with only a light touch of the malt in flavor. apricot flavor comes to mind. Gachupines (1252) - USA - SEP 19, 2010
Light amber, almost golden appearance with small white head. Aroma is strong hops and a little grapefruit. Flavor is all hops and citrus, and a bit acrid. No sense of malt to balance it at all. Way too one sided, still not bad but would not pick it over other IPAs. notalush (6036) - Lakewood, Colorado, USA - OCT 18, 2010
Bomber - lightly hazy straw color - bright, fruity aroma, with some biscuity malt and copious citric hop character - flavor is much the same - crisp, crackery malts, a bit of dry, mineral character - assertive hop bitterness at first compliments the malt base, but then gets a little too much in the long term - hops become quite spicy/peppery toward the finish - long-lingering, tongue curling bitterness overstays its welcome on the palate - some good things going on, but goes downhill near and through the finish.
