nearbeer (5671) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - OCT 19, 2010
22 oz. Clear burnt orange with a lasting quarter inch of foam. Nose is dirty butterscotch, lemon, resin, wood, and fresh apple. Flavor is soapy butterscotch, cabbage, dirty lemon and pine sawdust. Near medium body is a bit too fizzy, but well-balanced and lightly tingly. OK traditional, British-tasting IPA wchesser (2163) - Denver, Colorado, USA - OCT 24, 2010
Nose opens up with warmth floral and malt. Cloudy orange gold. Very bitter finish...too much for my taste...grapefruit pith without any of the fruit or citrus notes. Ok but not likely to get again...wish I had gotten another bomber of Wreck the Halls... BrotherGrendel (787) - San Diego, California, USA - MAY 6, 2011
Bottle. Bright orange, white head. Nose is subtle grass-pine hops. Flavor is crisp grainy malts and citrus hops. Watery texture with slight hop slickness. An average IPA. hellbilly (3306) - scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA - JUL 21, 2011
bottle at azwine 10/27/10.
orange gold color with a small white head.
the aroma is earthy... kinda woody/dirty in the hop department along with orange, grass, florals and some vanilla?.
the flavor is the same but sweeter than ideal with a bitterish finish. meh. 6/3/6/3/3.1 kp (10880) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - DEC 25, 2011

Bomber from Somewhere. Pours like an amber. Taste is all bitter, which is fine, but not enough to make it a "great" beer. Unbalanced and one-sided. Other spots are better. Drake (14332) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 16, 2010
22 ounce bottle from Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA. Pours a clear amber color with a medium head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of citrus hops with a bit of a tropical note and faint malty notes. The taste is very bitter, resiny and herbal hops with some green apple notes. Medium bodied. Interesting, but not really to my liking.

-Appearance : Pours very clean and clear with great lively head, slightly reddish hue, looks too clear to be an IPA.
-Aroma : Nice hop tones but has just a little skunk aroma
-Flavor : Pretty nice and clean just like it looks, but still that slight skunkiness.
-Overall : Very easy drinking IPA nice and clean, great hot weather brew.
