Almost clear yellow gold in color with a small white head. Initial aroma and flavor is a sweet, sticky saison-style beer, quite good upon first impression. A simple Belgian style beer, lightly sweet, light coriander and sticky honey flavors. Reminds me of a lot of Dutch styled ales, with the increased sweetness, though this one has more of a ESB-type bitterness which is a bit strange. Very drinkable, reminds me of Duvel, with more sweetness from the grains, and a little bit of a malt liquor flavor as well. Alcohol is not covered at all, though at 8.5% it’s not too much of a bother. Much better than the so-called Deschutes Saison. Bruss (1) - USA - NOV 11, 2006 does not count
Disappointing effort. I just returned from Belgium so may be a little hard on my friends in Hood River, but I expected more from Full Sail. Poor finish, weak head. Has some Belgian characteristics, but not a strong beer. ChillCoat (1029) - Concord, California, USA - NOV 8, 2006
Bottle. Hazy orange color with a quickly dissipating, white wisp. Banana and fruit aromas with some spiciness. Apricots, bananas, bubble gum and bubbles. Nice bhensonb (15958) - Woodland, California, USA - NOV 7, 2006
Flowery, yeasty aroma. So Belgian. Slightly hazy tarnished gold color. The head disappeared quickly. Starts with spice. Light sweetness, followed by more spice. Ending in banana hints, and the hops finally arrive. A bit light, a bit thin, but absolutely great. DYCSoccer17 (3714) - Woodland, California, USA - NOV 4, 2006
22 ounce bomber purchased at BevMo in Vacaville, CA. Doughy, bready, spicy, banana-estery aroma. Slightly sweet and sticky. Quite aromatic. Mild to moderately hazy honey-colored body with a very fizzy whitish head with lots of tiny bubbles. Sweet, sticky, slightly buttery start. Turns a little spiced in the middle. Finishes a tad dry with a light herbal hoppiness in the finish. I don’t think this is half bad.

On tap at Pilsener Room, Portland. Gold, disappearing head. Woody yeast aroma. Sweetish tangerine/mandarin flavour in mouth. Very fruity, some yeast. Not bad. Bit of jellied fruit. Odd HopheadHans (804) - Bay Area, California, USA - OCT 21, 2006
Tap. This beers pours with a hazy, golden color and a nice head. The aromas are dominated by yeast, banana and flowers. The flavors are definitely of the typical Belgian style, a spiciness, strong banana flavors as well as a bit of hops and a strong yeastiness. I am going agains the grain here but I loved this beer. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - OCT 19, 2006
Bomber. Pours hazy amber with a thin white head that falls to film as quickly as it possibly can. Slight nutty aroma to go with a fair effort at a wild Belgian yeast nose. Some pears and nuts in the palate. Medium body, almost-fizzy carb. This is fairly drinkable and pleased many co-workers this afternoon at an impromptu tasting they asked me to arrange. I’ll buy it again someday. Hoping to see it on draft. bb (9790) - Alamo, California, USA - OCT 17, 2006
Draft. Amber beer with a thin off-white head. Low fruity, yeasty aroma. Lots of fruity apple and some citrus esters with some earthy yeast and sweet bubblegum flavors. medium bodied. Not bad, just doesn’t stand out. ontario102 (794) - Boise, Idaho, USA - OCT 8, 2006
Uh, where’s the anticipated head? Apple and sour pear aroma with some soapy banana and yeast, some perfumey hops also; toasty and biscuity malt flavor over a slick body; lightly spiced hops. Weak flavor yet full bodied. Not very desirable to me.
