Pours a nice dark brown with off-white head. Malt, caramel, and spice on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with some roasted character.

12 oz bottle from Tipsy’s into a pint glass. Dark brown and clear with a thick tan head and lacing. Aroma and flavor of dark malts, spices, caramel, toffee and earthy hops. Medium body, pretty tasty overall.

[Bottle (12oz)] Pours a deep amber-red with a small lasting frothy beige head. Aroma of spices, toasted caramel malt and light vegetal notes along with dark fruit and light sugar. Fruity flavour along with spice, a bit of alcohol, bready caramel malt, dark fruit, sugar and an average bitter finish. Medium bodied. Pretty good, I enjoyed it.

12 oz bottle purchased at Giant Eagle on Route 8 in Pittsburgh. Immediate fruity notes and a mild bite from the hops. Medium body only --- not quite as rich as advertised.

Aroma is pretty sweet. Taste is on the lighter side, but has a blend of spices and malts. Overall pretty solid.

From 12oz bottle to shaker. Pour is a deep copper, very thick tan head. Nose is a little more subtle then I would have thought. Notes of roasted malt, coffee, hops for a little balance. Taste is mostly bitter, medium body. Finishes clean, balanced out with the hops. Nice beer from Full Sail, a little plain but a nice winter beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Another solid offering. Pours a dark ruby head with creamy and moderately persistent head. Roasted malts clearly on the nose with hops coming through. Taste is a bright burst of mild chocolate and cherry. Hopping gives a lot of berry cheer in a long aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle enjoy by March 25, 2014. Hazy, deep amber/ruby with a thin white cap coverage. Aroma is a spice variety, roasted nuttiness, and malt. Taste is sweet with a touch of sourness. Soft carbonation and creaminess, with a long dry finish.

Type: 12-oz. bottle Glass: Pint glass From: Received from my father-in-law Price: N/A Purchased: N/A Consumed: Dec. 23, 2013 Misc.: Enjoy by May 13, 2014 Poured a mahogany clear color with 1-to-2 fingers of tan head. Minimal lacing on the sides of the glass. Below average retention. Smelled caramel, toffee, roasty nuts, molasses and toast. Tasted like a better version of the smell. Roasted nutes, caramel, toffee, biscuit and light chocolate. Medium body. Oily-to-creamy texture. Soft carbonation. Long, bitter finish. It was a very nice winter beer. I’d have it again.
