glennmastrange (2939) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - NOV 16, 2015
Bottle. Moderate roasted and caramel for the malt, moderate to heavy orange for the hops, light musty for the yeast, with a hint of date in the background. Head is small, frothy, off-white with fair lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is murky amber orange. Flavor starts moderately sweet and moderately acid, then finishes moderately acidic and heavily bitter. Palate is on the fuller side of medium, slick, with a lively carbonation and a moderately astringent and a mildly sticky finish. A nice citrusy hopped IPA with a warm feel for the beginning of the holiday season. AnokaBrewer (223) - Anoka, Minnesota, USA - MAY 11, 2015
Pours a golden amber color with very little head. Aroma of citrus and hops.
While it said it was a holiday beer, I believe that was more due to release date than any spice or added flavorings to the beer, as I really didn’t pick up on any. It was a very good strong IPA. Beerathon (1680) - Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 1, 2015
Christmas style IPA isn’t really my thing. Getting pine, syrupy sweetness, spices, muddled earthiness. Meh. ellolovey (483) - Georgia, USA - JAN 4, 2015
22 oz bottle. Pours a hazy copper with thick frothy white head. Aroma of floral and citrus hops. Nice bitter hop bite up front followed by some sweet caramel malts and bread. Medium bodied. Nice lacing. Dry piney bitter finish. furthur (1255) - Eagle River, Alaska, USA - JAN 4, 2015
Bottle at share, medium amber body, little head, some lacing. Aroma sprucy and citrus. Taste is hoppy, citrus and spruce and light malt, a little lychee. Palate is nice and smooth, not too rich. Carbonation about right, not too sharp.

Very good holiday ale. The hoppiness is stellar! Full sail always impresses me with their tasty brews. Ctplt777 (533) - Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA - NOV 27, 2014
Great IPA. It’s a little spicier and theres some awesome stuff going on. Really hoppy. Tons of pine and citrus on the aroma and some other spices. Taste is bitter and hoppy with tons of pine. One of the piniest christmas IPA’s I’ve had. Definitely try this one. Cheers! slowrunner77 (13203) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 18, 2014
"this is a bigger beer than their regular ipa, and i like it better. fuller body, aroma is similar (but maybe spiced?), taste is stronger, which is good in this instance. only 22’s @$4, though."

This ale is medium in color, medium in body, and medium in alcohol content. The malt is understated, without a distinct taste, and the hops are overstated, like an IPA. IT is a good hoppy beer, but without the delicious malty flavor to balance out the hops. jrodooo5 (1748) - DOVER, Delaware, USA - MAY 5, 2014
A pretty smooth ipa! Has a good copper pour w/ a white head that leaves lacing. The aroma is subtle but hoppy. The taste is clean & crisp for an ipa. No lingering bitterness but not exactly a flavor explosion either. It’s a drinkable ipa but not spectacular.
