Clear medium to dark amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, plum, dark - dried fruit, alcohol, dried fruit. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, alcohol, fruity, dried fruit, riped fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat, finish feel is light to moderate alcoholic.

Bottled. An amber beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of wood, alcohol, armagnac, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of candy sugar, alcohol, wood, armagnac, malt, and caramel, leading to a dry alcoholic finish. GBBF. Can’t remember who shared this - Leighton? Bruce? Whoever it was - Cheers! Clear amber beer, no real head. Light smooth palate. Very honey orange and a tiny bit of spice. Semi dry finish. Intriguing - must try this in a bottle.

Bottle - light, crisp and dry. Fair bit of wed wood and fruity cognac. No heat. Slightly bitter and thin honey. Spicy finish. Remains an intriguing beer.

Orangeish amber colour with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, mildly wooden along with some toffee and mild alcoholic notes. Flavour is caramel, toffee, mild alcohol, fruits and some mild floral notes in the finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a clear amber with a dense and lacing off-white head. Caramel and sweet liqueur in the nose. Rich, sweet caramel body, lightly oxidized woody with a boozy finish. Rich and pleasant if not overly sophisticated. 270413
