COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask: Regular (but not permanent). Also available bottle conditioned (at 5.3%). Bengal Lancer is a traditional India Pale Ale, pale amber in colour, distinctively hoppy and highly refreshing. It’s notable for floral and spicy notes from the hops, and a finish of mild bitterness. A version of Bengal Lancer is brewed specifically for the export market, known simply as Fuller’s India Pale Ale.

Cask @ old bank of england, fleet street. Pours golden amber. Small white head. Biscuity aroma. Bitter, but not in a good way. Better than pride though...

Amber colour with light brown head, wich immediately disappear. Very mild aroma, you can detect only some herbal, grassy notes. Similar as aroma is flavor: mild notes of hops, with grassy, herbal character, well balanced with maltiness, which have biscuit like character. Firstly is sweet, with bitter finish. Body is medium, soft carbonation and bitterness. Classical english style IPA.

Bottle from Waitrose. One of my personal IPA favorites. Well balanced with hints of fruit and caramel. Balanced bitterness.

Bière ambrée sans mousse, léger arôme fumé, goût d’IPA avec l’amertume reconnaissable, le goût ne reste pas en bouche longtemps, elle manque un peu d’amertume quand même, dommage

UPDATED: MAR 16, 2017 Labeled as Fuller’s India Pale Ale (Not Bengal Lancer) 1st Bottle from Aldi. 33cl. In Ikea?s Pint glass. Watching Los Soprano 5x08. Caramel with a strong old school herbal bitterness that balances very well the malt and provides an pleasant overall experience. Long lasting foam 2nd bottle from Labirratorium. In same glass. Playing Shadows of Vatican. Similar to previous one. Feels a bit more fresher (although is 3 months older, bb Jan 18) but have slight veggie notes not much pleasant and has less foam. I?d give it the same score as one thing compensates the others

330ml bottle (as Fuller’s India Pale Ale) Loverly red-amber colour, with a small head and medium carbonation. Medium bodied, a nice bitter finish follows some spicy, fruity flavours. A really nice IPA which could well become a regular standby.
