3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: AUG 7, 2015 0.5 bottle from britishstore.hu, labelled as Fuller’s India Pale Ale. Starts with a nice head but quickly vanishes. Head has mildly bitter taste with malty and fruity notes. Colour is a bit darker than a pilsner, but fairly pale altogether. The taste is a balanced British ale on the bitter side, with moderate fruity notes plus some caramel maybe. Carbonation is OK, could be milder but becoes fairly silky in the end. Nice bitterish aftertaste. Well balanced, nice stuff.
(Rerated on 8 August, very nice malty finish with silky mouthfeel and balanced frouty hoppiness, raise the score a bit. A fine beer.
Bottle. Pours light amberish with a slight haze and a white tight head. Aroma is light citrus, tangerine, fruitty and flowery. Pleasent fruitty esters in the nose. Flavour is tangerine, fruitty, orangey, caramel, sweet, honey. Medium carbonation, velvety/soft mouthfeel and sublte bitterness. Good IPA and a very good English IPA at that. Would have again. bilcho1 (236) - Ruse, BULGARIA - JAN 6, 2018
500ml bottle shared with a friend. Pours cloudy with a thin-fast settling frothy head, heavy lacing but no bead. Mid amber in colour. Yeast aroma with hints of floral perfume and fruit. In the mouth, smooth in texture, releasing flavours of bread and cereal with notes of perfume, flowers and fruit, medium bitterness and scarcely a hint of sugar. Overall, an older style of IPA without intense citrus flavours, but nevertheless very enjoyable. Drago7 (1036) - Warsaw, POLAND - DEC 19, 2017

Bottle at The Beehive, Battersea/Wandsworth (not sure where the boundary is). Nil aroma. A hazy amber. The white head soon fades. Medium bitter. Gets quite sharp. Some hidden sweetness. Light bodied. Slick. Flat. Long dry finish. Better than I expected. Unexpectedly hippy. A bit flat though.

Biscuity and hop aroma. Classic hop pale malt taste, on hoppy side. Nice enough thejackpacker (769) - East Sussex, ENGLAND - NOV 18, 2017
Bottle. Nice slight caramel aroma. An incredibly gluggable ale that went down a treat as a taste of both home and fullers. Sometimes a little sharp on the alcohol. Davros IX (611) - Hertford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 24, 2017
Bottle at home with a balti curry. Possibly over chilled, but a smooth IPA with lots of bitter hops and a balanced maltiness. It complemented the curry perfectly, caressing the palate after the heat of the spices. Screw the Cobra, this is what I should be having in the future with my curry! coil (206) - Reading, Berkshire, ENGLAND - SEP 27, 2017
