COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle & Keg; Filtered & pasteurised.

Brewed with a combination of five different malts, some heavily roasted for a near jet black appearance, and beneath its dark exterior features luxurious red berry notes, toasty aromas on the nose and culminates in a dry, bitter finish.

cage.79 (60) - Worcestershire, ENGLAND - FEB 25, 2018
UPDATED: FEB 25, 2018 Bottle. Pours black, cream head that reduces to a clinging line around edge of glass. Faint aroma of dark chocolate and dark fruit -plum perhaps. Taste is lovely as expected; chocolate, faint vanilla, earth, not too bitter. Fairly fizzy but with enough body to be interesting. Impressive beer for mid ABV.

bottiglia 50 cl, schiuma fine color cappuccino media persistenza, colore nero, al naso caffè cacao liquirizia, in bocca malto tostato caffè cioccolato fondente frutta secca, leggero affumicato, carbonatazione leggera, corpo rotondo, cremosa, amaro moderato. Una Stout che si beve bene. Non male. 24.02.18

LCI. Uit de fles geschonken. Mooie volle stout, met smaken van gebrande mout en chocola.

mcberko (20305) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 21, 2018
UPDATED: JAN 22, 2018 500mL bottle, pours black with a small beige head. Nose is smooth, with oats, toasted malt and a hint of dry cocoa. Flavour is all roasted barley and oats, with very little harshness. Nicely balanced and smooth on the palate. Good stuff.

Pours dark, I didn't get much head or lacing. Tastes of roasted malt, black coffee, slight citrus and low bitterness. Another go-to from Fuller's

UPDATED: DEC 16, 2017 From a 500ml bottle. Pours pitch black with a thin beige head which disappeared quickly. A nice chocolate and roasted barley aroma with a sweet, slightly bitter taste and dark chocolate and dark fruit notes. Not a big fan of the Fullers beers but this stout is nice.

Turtles (3181) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - NOV 25, 2017
Keg @ Örebro Ölhall. Looks clear, black, creamy khaki head, rich lacing. Cold coffee nose, milk chocolate and bread. Dry and light mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Creamy chocolate taste, fudge, coffee and cocoa bitterness. Dry and bitter finish.

BeardedAvenger (1338) - Addlestone, Surrey, ENGLAND - NOV 17, 2017
Keg at White House, Guildford. Coffee aroma with a tangy edge. Dark. Thick beige head. Looks very good in the branded glass. Light bitter. Kinda sweet and sour. Malty. Light bodied but creamy. Flat carbonation. Abrupt finish. Decent enough but didn't really do that much for me.

3.8
lidor1995 (160) - ISRAEL - NOV 12, 2017
UPDATED: NOV 12, 2017 Pours from the bottle black with no head, chocolate aroma strongly present, taste of chocolate and coffee, a little burnt after taste and oddly enough, cheese
