Bottle & Keg; Filtered & pasteurised.

Brewed with a combination of five different malts, some heavily roasted for a near jet black appearance, and beneath its dark exterior features luxurious red berry notes, toasty aromas on the nose and culminates in a dry, bitter finish.

Bottle. Poured dark brown color with an average frothy tan head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Solid toasted chocolate malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium toasted malt flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met.

Bottle. Pours black with a thin rim. Scent is medium notes of toasted malt and some slightly undesirable notes like rubber. Taste is fairly plain Stout notes with some spices almost reminiscent of Christmas spices. Finish is peppery. Good.

On-tap at Porter&Sons. Nitro. Pours deep brown black with a thick tan head, creamy and stable. Aroma of coffee, roasted grains, ash and dark chocolate. Moderately sweet, roasted, ash, coffee, a bit dry and bitter finish. Medium-full bodied, low carbonation, silky smooth. Great stout.

Fuller is a winner !!

Bottle from Saq A: roasty, some toasted malt, just a touch of caramel, a touch of coffee. App: dark brown close to black sparing beige head t/p: med body with short bitter finish. Soft carbonation. O: Sessionable stout with a nice English feel. It doesn’t push the limit of style but hey, sometimes it’s fine to go back to the base

On tap at Porter and Sons. Black with a fine, creamy beige head. Toasted and a little burnt aroma, some cut grass, some chocolate. Bitter, roasty, burnt taste with notes of cocoa. Medium body, smooth, gentle carbonation, mildly bitter and quite chocolaty finish.
