Cask at The Lazy Bulldog, Athens. Black with a creamy head. Mild coffee roastiness, then chocolate and walnuts in the nose, tastes a little oxidized, prune, chocolate, a little bit sour. Full body, long, fruity finish, delicate carbonation. vbeer (14) - Barcelona, SPAIN - DEC 21, 2016
Hand pulled cask at the Wheatsheaf, Ealing. Deep ruby brown with a loose bubbled beige head. Rather mild in terms of roasty bitterness for a stout but pleasant and sessionable for sure. Cunningham (7946) - Halden, NORWAY - AUG 23, 2016

Cask. Why are tickers always rating cask beers lower than bottle/keg? Bunch of haters. Haters on the menjay. I like cask, and I’m a real ticker. Get it - real like real ales? I should have been born an old eccentric British alcoholic, but alas, I was born a weird dude in these dirty south, then headed to the less dirty north, then to the also not quite as dirty, except for the human urine and feces all over the San Francisco streets, west. So here I am, in London, living a depressing but delicious and heavily sedated life that could have been. Lifestyles of the tickin’ famous. Ok that one is a bad one, and I’m not famous anymore. Could walk right through a beer fest pouring one ounce rare beer pours without being noticed. Sad really. But now I have a daughter, and maybe someday she’ll be the worthless alcoholic, but ticking champion, I always strived (strove?) to be. So the beer. Very dark brown with an eternal beige head that leaves thick lacing. Aroma is dank wet charcoal after a summer campfire that got rained on, bitter cocoa, espresso beans, fall leaves. Roasty and dry flavor. A bitter finish. Medium bodied and smooth. Hides the lack of ABV well. I like this. nofearhatmatt (48) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 21, 2015
Had on tap at Union Tavern. Pours dark to blackish brown with a light brown head. Smell is sweet almost like brown sugar. Taste is heavily toasted malt and molasses. Not as good as the bottled version.

Pint at Heathrow. Looks exactly how you’d want a stout to look, down to the thick creamy head. Not much aroma and the flavour is disappointingly standard. Malt, a bit of chocolate and fruit. Not that rich but it’s smooth and very drinkable. Don’t think it needs serving as cold as I had it. HenrikSoegaard (14166) - Randers, DENMARK - JUN 24, 2015

Aroma is roasted and chocolate, kind of a let down as far as flavor, malts are strong almost too creamy needs a bit of a bite for a complex feel dequevedo (10) - BRAZIL - MAR 28, 2015
Bela stout. Aroma muito bom; espuma de formação baixa porém persistente. Cerveja bastante cremosa, combinou muito bem com hambúrguer.
