Bottle, kindly provided by KnutAlbert. (Brewers Reserve Oak Aged) It pours an almost clear, body, dark golden in color and topped by a nice off-white head. Slightly milky-sour aroma with a little alcohol, some oak and whisky. Full-bodied and warming with a little sourish touch. Alcohol, malty sweetness and some oaky flavors. Didn’t ring my bell at all, actually it wasn’t far from bad. 500 days on oak seems to be too much, at least for this one. Wouldn’t shy away from another sample though. Pours clear dark amber with a fluffy head. Sweet and malty aroma with some notes of cherries and Canadian whisky. Not much whisky when it come to flavour, instead there’s cherries, wood and alcohol. I’m disappointed.
Botella. Courtesy of Plovmand. Clear dark amber colour. Aroma of dark fruits and malt bit sweet. Good mouthfeel. The flavour has a pleasant toasted maltiness with dark fruits, caramel and some bitterness. Plovmand (8312) - Helsinge, DENMARK - FEB 8, 2009
Bottle. Deep amber body with a medium white head. Fruity aroma with malty notes and nicely balanced with the hops. Fruity flavour with a good malt base and a little smoke/peat. Long fruity and hoppy finish. Creamy body. Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - FEB 8, 2009
Coppery colored with little yellow head. Sour aroma with fruits also. Medium bodied. Flavor is also sweet with same sourness, fruits also here with mild alcohol in aftertaste.

Bottle at chris o’s teabag for 2009 tasting. Alround rating: Dry, full bodied, lacking somewaht. I cannot believe thats what i rated this, as iv had it twice since and would compair it to ESB. MesandSim (7117) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 26, 2009
A Mes rate. Bottle at Chris O’s pre NYE tasting. Amber with a thin off white head. Looks like most Fullers Vintage ales. Cheap single malt aroma with a little soap. Really not working for me. Mellow whisky flavour that seems in no way integrated with what seems like a fairly standard variant of the vintage ale underneath. Boring finish with some wooden accents. Feels like a poor attempt to me. Bragesnak (5394) - Aarhus, DENMARK - JAN 25, 2009
From Voldby, DK.
Amber with small head. Aroma of wood, vanilla and malt. Flavor is caramel with balanced whisky tone.
