COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The fourth incarnation of Brewer’s Reserve spent a year in the Fuller’s cellar in rare Comte de Lauvia Armagnac casks from the Bas region of France. (Bottle) Amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with dried fruit, apricots, orange peel, dark bread, honey, oak wood, vanilla, a touch of chocolate and earthy aromas of armagnac. Malty, fruity taste with notes of dried fruit, apricots, dark bread, nuts, orange peel, a touch of chocolate, spicy hints of cinnamon and vanilla, and a warming touch of armagnac in a finish with a balanced bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and interesting, with a distinct armagnac character, that stay well balanced throughout. Very nice.

Bright amber, coarse low top. Dry, fruit-cake fruity. Some nuts and malt drops. Predominant barrel notes, yet quite soft in the mouth. [Bottle from the brewery, enjoyed at home]
