Cask (backlog). Pale amber colour with a small slightly off-white head. Aroma is fruity, wooden, floral, some zesty notes as well as some mild resiny and grassy notes. Flavour is floral, fruity, grassy and mildly zesty and toffeeish notes as well. Balanced, and quite pleasant aftertaste too.

Cask at The White Hart, Kingston; pale and hoppy, a nice lemony, gooseberry citrus; reminded me of a much subtler but no less gluggable Wild River; super-moreish; I liked it a lot - perfect for outdoor Spring drinking.

Cask at the Victoria pub near Paddington. Pours fairly clear yellow with virtually no head. Interesting take on a hoppy beer-it’s a lot mellower than the U.S. IPA’s but very subtle and easy to drink. Lots of floral on the nose-enjoyable and sessionable.
