Cask. Amber Gold in colour. Malty (toasty malts, caramel). Fruity (citrus orange). Hoppy (slight grassy hops). OK flavour for low ABV. Mild bitterness throughout. Dryish hoppy finish. Sessionable. Drinkable. (2008)

Tried at the Horse and Hockey, Waddington. Amber colour with an off white head. Aroma is sawdust, grain and light malt. Taste is dull. Very thin and watery. Ktwse (5235) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 26, 2016
Pours clear amber with flat head. Aroma of bread, caramel and light citrus. Taste is mellow bitter with a lightly fruity finish. Light and smooth body with soft carbonation. jjsint (3317) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - AUG 15, 2016
Handpull cask at the Mawson Arms, Chiswick. Golden brown, clear with a loose-ish white head. Nutty, sulphury smell with a touch of earthy hop. Clear, bittersweet sulphury taste. Some toffee apple in the finish. Did this used to be a lot better or have I ’outgrown’ it? Either way perhaps not one of Fuller’s better offerings. altonbrownd (5897) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - OCT 25, 2015

Pours clear golden color with a small white head. Fruity and grassy aroma, some herbs. Flavor is also fruity and juicy, some mild malt notes and hay. Simple.
Chiswick pours a crystal clear orange gold with a doughy biscuit aroma. The taste is biscuits, tobacco, very very light caramel. Quite nice, still not sold on tobacco flavors in a beer though... DrGD (111) - West Midlands, ENGLAND - MAY 7, 2015
On tap @Old Joint Stock. Nice copper colour with small white foam. Aromas of caramel, malts, biscuit. Taste has a strong malty character, caramel, fruits, hoppy notes. A bit thin but well rounded and very tasty for its low alcohol content. A good example of an English bitter. zimbo (970) - SCOTLAND - MAY 4, 2015
Sparkling and tightly filtered with a floral quality, this beer promises so much but comes across as on the dilute side for what the nose offers. More concentration and a more harmonious structure would work a treat here. Great bar clip though.
