3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Handpull cask at the Mawson Arms, Chiswick. Golden brown, clear with a loose-ish white head. Nutty, sulphury smell with a touch of earthy hop. Clear, bittersweet sulphury taste. Some toffee apple in the finish. Did this used to be a lot better or have I íoutgrowní it? Either way perhaps not one of Fullerís better offerings.

Chiswick pours a crystal clear orange gold with a doughy biscuit aroma. The taste is biscuits, tobacco, very very light caramel. Quite nice, still not sold on tobacco flavors in a beer though...

On tap @Old Joint Stock. Nice copper colour with small white foam. Aromas of caramel, malts, biscuit. Taste has a strong malty character, caramel, fruits, hoppy notes. A bit thin but well rounded and very tasty for its low alcohol content. A good example of an English bitter.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sparkling and tightly filtered with a floral quality, this beer promises so much but comes across as on the dilute side for what the nose offers. More concentration and a more harmonious structure would work a treat here. Great bar clip though.

2/4 Gravity cask @ In De Wildeman. Light copper color, slightly hazy. Soapy head, not much. Aroma: fruit, some caramel sweetness. Grain, caramel, fruit retronasal. Flavor is light malty sweet, light bitter. Light bodied, but not thin, with a light carbonation fizz. Finishes grainy and eventually with a decent bitterness. Classic bitter.
